This is a scam pretending to be Best Toyota in Kentville. It is not. I did not answer the phone. I've had several calls from this number but no one leaves a message. This is the first time.

This number called me today, but I didn't get to the phone in time.  I called the number back after reading these posts and was put on hold for a few seconds, then a woman came on and said something along the lines of "Thank-you for calling...(couldn't make out the middle part)...on behalf of Best Toyota.  How may I help you today?"  I hung up.  I don't own a Toyota!

Received another call from these birds on Saturday, March 22nd, at 6:15 pm - thought the number seemed familiar, and just found my posting (above) from October 2013.

In this instance, a heavily-accented female asked for a "Stephanie" something (indiscernible) - she repeated it when I asked "Who?", and I then politely told her she must have the wrong number. Looking at the diversity of other complaints, and the 'back story' given by the caller, it's obviously a scam of some (or several) sorts - do NOT divulge anything!

Had received several times from this number,who are they?

Started receiving calls from this number Feb 27,2014 and also Mar 1, and Mar 3.  They do not speak when I answer and hang up after a few seconds. Annoying...

Didn't answer the phone & no message left. From Dartmouth area & own a Hyundai.

Getting 3 to 4 calls daily from this number. Claims to be calling from a "local" dealership. The first calls they could not name the dealership. Kept getting "Your KIA dealership". I answered tonight for s**** and giggles and they used the name MacDonald Kia which is a dealership near me. However, they were fishing for personal information.

This is a SCAM. Caller asking for personal information. They have some limited info that they must haste stolen from the MacDonald Group car dealerships in Sydney Cape Breton Nova Scotia. If it was not stolen then it was sold to them by the dealerships. DO NOT ANSWER or CONFIRM ANY INFORMATION WITH THESE SCAMMERS.

I keep getting calls from this number as well. I am never around to answer, but I tried calling back and it was a recording saying blah blah blah they have a great upgrade deal for me and someone will call back within 24 hours. Clearly a scam...

This number has called a few times now..it always looks odd to me as the 1-902 part of the number displays which isn't usual for local callers, followed by the regularly shown "main part" of 982-3852. I always pick it up thinking one of my sons has borrowed a friends phone and need to get in touch.
Always silence even when I answer and then about 15 seconds later, the line goes dead. Really annoying. Latest call 13-Nov-2013 at 7.59pm.

I just got a call from this number as well.  The guy on the other end (english, but not a local accent) asked for my wife.  I said she's not home and asked for a message.  He said it was Toyota calling.  Recognizing the area code as different from mine, I asked where he was calling from?  He answered the local Toyota dealership here.  When I told him about the 902 area code, he just said, "sir, I do not know what area code comes up on your phone, but I am calling from your local Toyota dealership.  I'll try again later".  Very weird.  Very fishy.

This number keeps calling here. I answer but no reply. I wait for a few seconds and still nothing. They eventually hang up! Getting very annoying

just got a call from this number and when I answered the phone no one answered me and them in a couple of seconds they hung up on me.

A person by the name of Evan Gardner called from this number, saying he was representing the dealership where we bought our vehicle. He asked for my husband, I said he wasn't available. When I asked to take a message, he saud he was just calling with a reminder to a Gala... sounds fishy to me!

Just had  a call  from  this  #.  Didn't  answer  in  time, so  called  back.  Don't  have  a  clue  who they  are,  in  French, then  English.I left  a not  so  nice  message.  Have  unlisted  #  so  basically knew  it  was  b***s***  call.  We  are  also  registered  with  no telemarketer  calls. But  those  idiots  still  get  our  #  somewhere.

They called 3 times on October 17 at 9am, 11 am and 8pm. I'm going to complain to Rogers as I have had a big influx of these types of calls in the past month.

Received call at 8:15pm October 15, they also called on the 12. No answer and no voicemail, in with Rogers and have had a lot more telemarketers calling lately.

Call from (902) 982-3852 @ 6pm on Oct. 10/2013 - did not bother to answer, and no message left...call was received on my non-published Bell cell number (business), leading me to believe this is an auto-dialer of some wort...nuisance!

Received a call from 902-982-3852 my son took the call and they asked for my grandfather who has been deceased for 30 years. I called the number back and it was a recording in french first then in english.Stating about if I received a letter for an upgrade to leave à message with my name and number and they will call me back. My son told them that the person they were looking for did not live here.
Very weird that they asked for my grandfather because his last name is different than mine and has never lived at this address or had the same phone number. My oldest son however did create an account for a family tree online and Im thinking the info was hacked and Thats how they got my grandfathers name and my number.

Similar experience as a few other posters. They asked if I owned a 2008 Kia Sorento (I actually own a Majentis). Caller said she was calling on behalf of a dealership, which was in fact the dealership where I bought my car. Asked if I received a $1000 letter that can go toward a trade in. I'm calling that dealership on Monday to see if this is legit or not.

Someone called me from this number today. Didn't make it to my phone in time to answer it but no voice mail was left. I do not own a Hyundai vehicle.

This number called me yesterday asking if I owned a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe. They asked if we recieved a $1000 letter from Hyundai to use on a trade-in for a new vehicle, so we'd have the same payment or less... seemed like a scam to me.

Someone from this number calls for my son (who doesn't have a credit card) and they will not leave a message or state why they are calling.  Unable to reach the caller by calling the number, as it rings then cuts off.  The ID on my caller ID says MO1101036240003.
