They called constantly, never leave a message, just call

They want to talk to the women because they are easier to get money from. If a man answers they normally just hang up and try again some other time.

This is a total scam and they try to get you to do a bank transfer over the phone! Don't fall for this! Texas State Troopers is a total fake to sound authentic. If it were actually the state troopers don't you think they wouldn't block the name on the caller ID? You could wind up getting your bank account cleaned out!

Got several calls from this number. I never answered, they never left a massage. Finally I answered and the guy asked for the lady of the house and said he was Kenneth with Texas State Troopers Association. I had to pry this info out of him.

Not sure who this might be, but we answer "no" calls from "out of area" even when there is a number attached...please report this number to the do not call registry.

Caller identified himself as with Texas Troopers. Third person calling in three days from
different numbers identifying himself as with the Troopers. Other callers had name on ID and
were 281 area code.

Received call from 903-328-9658.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Thought it might be a relative that had moved to that area recently.  Called the number and received message that the party at that number was not available.  Looked the number up and found this site.

Didn't call me but once and I missed it.  I hope they call again so I can tell them where to shove it.

i had a missed call from this number so i called it back and it says no one is at this extension. I figured it was some kind of stupid telemarketer. they used to all start with 1-800 so you knew which ones to avoid. They are getting smarter it seems. Jerks!

calls from this number to both my landlines within 15 minutes of each other.  I answered and the call was immediately disconnected.  Nobody was there on either call.  I'm guessing this is a contractor and they get paid for every call they make that is connected - no need to actually have a conversation - just get someone to answer and then hang up and get paid.

They called, I answered, no response Caller ID sayes Sherman,Tx 903-328-9658 I'm unsure who they are.

Got the call from 903 328-9658 and no message. This "Texas State Troopers" association is actually a front for Gov. Rick Perry (a scuzzball of the lowest order)-- any money they collect goes to his current election effort. That's why the calls have begun since January. He is gearing up for the election effort, the fundraising is getting illegal, as usual.

They have called two or three times.  I answer and say hello real loud about five times but nobody says anythimng so I just hang up.

I have received this number on my telephone about 12 time since December, with no message.

these idiots just called and hung up on my wife . when we traced the call it was a recording and said this number does not recieve messages.HUMM, IMAGINE THAT...CROOKS

Don't you just love these scammers?  Again, simply google any number you don't immediately recognize.  Then, should you choose to, log that number on your phone with a "silent" ringtone so you won't be bothered by it on the next occasion they call.  And they WILL call again.  Count on it.  These scammers are the scourge of the earth.  Wouldn't it be nice if the Federal Government could actually do something about these b****ipe telemarketers working under the guise of non-profit organization charities instead of giving us the old "do not call list" shuck and jive runaround routine?

Texas State Troopers Association.  Right up there with Fraternal Order of Police...scam where the money doesn't make it to the troopers or policemen.  Google them.
