I have recieved multiple calls from this number on my cell for the past week. No messages and no answer when I pick up. I have no outstanding bills, never have.

I have been receiving calls from this # for weeks. Had 3 today! I rarely answer my phone and they never leave a message. Have no idea who they are.

Leaves a message for Diana ---, with a return number about claim # 1934945. I receive calls multiple times each week, often leaves a message.

Called 3 times today, no messages left. I have no reason to be called since i pay all my bills on time every month and have nothing unkown on my lastest credit report.

ANSWERED THE CALL, HOWEVER, CALLER DOES NOT REPLY.
VERY STRANGE, SINCE WE HAVE NO OUTSTANDING OR DELINQUENT DEBT.

At work, this number frequently comes through. It is always an automated message addressed to various associates employed at the location. The calls have come through as often as within two minutes of each other.  
It is voice prompted so it does little good for them to call this number since after the message has begun it does not provide a pause to transfer to the person in which they are requesting to reach. What is scary is that if the message is listened to through the end it provides an account number. One can only hope it a bogus account number...
The telephone number in which provides to call back is not the same as the one that is indicated on the caller i.d [903-891-1396].

I've gotten called by this number at least four times in the past two days on my CELL PHONE! Most of the time they hang up before it goes to voicemail  but today I answered and they asked for me, then proceeded to hassle me about a debt. I do NOT owe anybody anything. They couldn't even tell me who "supposedly" sent it to collections. That's when I told them to take my name off their caller list and hung up. Unbelievable.

Send them a *certified* letter that says something like this:

"To Whom It May Concern:  Worldwide Asset Purchasing LLC/West Asset Management is routinely calling me on the telephone despite agreements to my verbal requests to stop calling.  This letter serves as your notice that Worldwide Asset Purchasing LLC/West Asset Management is to cease all communication with me. If you fail to abide by this notice, I will gleefully seek civil damages and file complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the [your state] attorney general and any other controlling legal authority that's in a position to inflict punishment on you.  Sincerely,"

Though the call you received was made from Texas, West Asset Management's sleazy operation is based in Atlanta. Here is their address:

I receive calls almost daily from West Asset Management.  They definitely have the wrong party.  I have asked them not to call on three occasions; twice they agreed, but continued to call.  On the third request, the caller was rude and argumentative.  How does one get West Asset Management to stop calling?  This amounts to harrassment and is an invasion of my peace and privacy at home.

calls for an employee who owes a lot of money and has gone to collections, and he just tells them "call me at home" and gives them a fake number, now they call almost 6 times from 8-5 and hang up when we pick up

They have called my number many many times asking for a person that does not reside at my number.  I've only been home a couple of times they've called (they call a lot in the middle of the day) and I've told them that person doesn't live there, but they don't care and just want to bug and annoy us as much as possible.  It funny to hear them talk to my voicemail though - they think someone actually answered the phone - that's how stupid the people that work for this company are.

Caller wanted one person, then asked for another.  I told him I was their personal sec'y and all phone calls are screened by me.  He insisted it was a personal matter for the 2nd person.  I told him the 2nd person he was inquiring about was my 6 month old daughter, and didn't he feel stupid now?  Who are these businesses that hassle people?

I told him to take our name off his solicitation list and hung up.

Several calls to my house - an obvious bill collector "fishing" for someone with same last name.  I wonder if these calls can be treated the same way solications are treated when you advise them to "never call me again":  a trip to summary claims court and a $500 judgement paid out to me!!

On 9/17/2007, I got a call from this number with a message on my answering machine to call 866-882-5881.  The first part of the message was gobbled probably because their recording started before my message unit came on.  I've received calls before from West Asset Management and informed them the person they were looking for was not at my number.

These rude people call at least 6 times a day...we don't owe!!!!!!!!!!!  Not even the same person...they just call and ask for info they have "pulled" out of the air.
