I am annoyed about receiving this call

I have recieved this call several times. The latest this morning. She said her name was Jolene but wouldnt say where she was from. I asked three times and all she did was say "have a nice day" and hung up. I doubt they are calling about a credit card payment because I don't have a credit card..lol

They call my home and cell # all the time and all they say is "please hold for an important message".  When you try to answer, no one is there!  What they don't know is that I am a computer geek and I know how to find thier net server.  Then I will have some fun with them!  You ask for it, and it won't be a Toyota!  Hope they have a good IT person!  He will be busy for days with my little present!

I get calls every day at least 10 times a day I think. They never speak, just call and hang up.

How do i get rid of these people. They call like 10 times a day!

They are calling my home phone, my cell phone & my 9 year olds cell phone.  They ask for someone & I ask who is calling they hang up.

Collections outfits hire people with almost null skill sets, so, don't be surprised that they call repeatedly because they have little else to do. They are in a "bull pen" type environment and may have software that dials yet another number, for them, within less than a minute after their last outgoing call hangs up. They may also leave messages or not. I get the feeling they leave messages because it kills a bit more time, in their very boring day. Sometimes they will imput various numbers into the software that spoofs whatever number they wish to your Caller ID, so you may see 555-555-5555 or just about anything else. Again, these aren't necessarily low intelligence people, although some certainly are in the job because they are dumb bunnies, but they are folks who don't have a big skill set and/or may be out on their ear from a job, just like you.

In short, if you owe and can't pay (I cannot and will be declaring bankruptcy, presently (I had a 737 credit score on the day, 3.5 years ago, when I bought my house)...and I won't lose my house...there IS a "means" test, but, if you're out of a job and don't have substantial assets (you probably don't, otherwise, you'd be making min. payments, anyway, and wouldn't be hearing from the collectors, as am I), then you'll pass it...so, do see a lawyer and pay the $1,000 or so (not much above $2,000, total, even if you live in a higher cost area) and go Chapter 7), just don't answer, when you don't recognize the number, even if it's a local call, because these folks can spoof any number they like. They have used various local numbers, although I believe it is a local collector for the one local account that we "owe" (insurance didn't pay, when I got canned - b*****ds!) that I think is doing the most creative local-call spoofing and/or calling from various locales, i.e., businesses, cell phones, her own land line(s), etc., to get me to pick up.

Go with God. Your Creator doesn't look down on you because you owe.

So, be sure and forgive others, too, including their debts to you...that's the hardest part, in case you are owed, now, or in future!

CALLS OVER AN OVER. This is a bill collector. I know. These credit card companies gave out so much credit like it was free money and now people are losing jobs, like me after 22 years, and cant pay. There has to be a reform in bankruptcy. I cant pay these people and lose my home. We can barely scrape by with food on the table. But they dont care they keep calling and calling. It is wasting their money not mine.

Call a least 2 times a day - no message.

I get calls from them all the time... 9042013806 asked them to stop calling caller id comes up Florida call asking for a Karen.. No Karen here, then they argue why not a Karen?

I called them back and asked to be removed... The company is Total Card spoke with a Liz

I get at least 4 calls from this number a day on my cell phone. I have no idea who they are and do not answer as I do not know the number.  I never receive a voicemail...this number needs to be traced and the people dealt with. Based on some research this number is a business number registered with Level 3 Communications and is from the St. Johns area of Florida. there is no name available.

This number has been calling me on my new cell phone number multiple times a day for several days now without leaving a message.  I finally picked up and the female caller asked for "Martha." I told her that she must have the wrong number, but she replied that she did have the right number. I informed her that I got this phone on Saturday (four days ago), and she told me that she talked to "Martha" on Monday which was obviously a lie. I asked for the number she was trying to reach, and she replied with my number.  I then informed her that it's my personal cell phone and I don't know a Martha, after which the caller hung up.

If I get more calls I will ask for more information about the caller so I can file a report. Hopefully, this is the last I'll hear from them.

THEY KEEP CALLING 4 AND 5 TIMES A DAY AND NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.  STOP CALLING OR THE NEXT TIME YOU CALL LEAVE A MESSAGE SO I KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

Got a call this morning.  I answered it and a recorded message said "please hold, I have an important message for you".  That message was repeated twice and while I was waiting for someone to come on the line, the call disconnected.

It's a bill collector.  When there's an initial with a last name, it's their tricky way to get you to answer with an outsourced work at home employee.

I just started getting calls from this number, but they didn't leave a message.  Anyone know who it is?

I received a call from this number this morning. The caller ID reads "B. Doherty" and the number.  Don't know why they would call me.  Maybe its a bill collector?

Just keep calling and wont quit. Like they are harrassing me and everyone else.

They call me everymorning at 8 AM when i'm sleeping, they never leave a message and when I do pick up they never speak

I get calls from this number on my home and cell everyday repeatedly and no caller id info for name and never msgs left.
