Blocking the caller does not help end the pattern of abuse. Someone provided a mailing address a few weeks ago. Send a ''cease communication'' notice via USPS Certified with return card. Then when you get the card, send a summons and complaint for the arrest threat and refusal to disclose a company name, which are both FDCPA violations.

Received a call 4/17/14 at office (I'm the receptionist and I myself do not owe anyone any money not a single penny so the call was not for me). the caller self-identified as a "Miss Welch" and then refused to give her company name and phone number and became increasingly threatening to me claiming that if I didn't give her any information about the person she said she was calling to find out other info on that she would get ME put in jail! She called at 4:59 p.m. just before our phones went on auto answer and did not even understand there was a time difference west coast/east coast (area code 904 is Florida, we are "left coasters"). I picked up the name of the company and the phone number from our caller ID service. Once I started googling the number and "Franklin Ross" I realized they are scammers. I have reported them to our phone service provider to get them blocked from calling. Some phone service providers will do this - the smaller ones will but big ones like Century and Comcast won't. But we got this abusive caller fully blocked now.

I received a call at 10pm with a nasty hateful recording I pushed a button to speak to someone only to be put on hold. I hung up called the number back and if one can get in trouble for cussing I will. I do NOT APPRECIATE A HATEFUL CALL AT 10 pm when especially when it gives a name of a company but not knowing the company. I am sick and tired of hateful threats. I can be nasty and hateful also. I am going to file bank ruptcy to stop all this. With the recent death of my husband who left me penniless and his life ins to his mom, and death of my father, who didn't have life ins that covered expenses, Im not worried about someone rolling in money

904-421-5061 call from that number this time. Got a deal from one lady then her supervisor got on phone(male) and then proceeded to give me a much higher price I had to put down. Kept asking name of business and kept going around the question. Then he got ruder with me when I said I couldn't verify any information on his end, so I didn't want to give any bank information and told him not to call me again.

Actually, it was probably Paul Webb, trying to legitimize his role on the phone. I didn't have to post anything about what you said, because your inability to form a complete sentence shows how very ignorant you are.  Go back to school and graduate or get your GED, and maybe you can compete with some one who is obviously more inteligent then you are.

Boy, oh boy, can you believe the crap listed here on this page. For starters, how about the poor sentence formation.  Secondly, they don't know the difference, from a period, and comma. You can tell, the person writting this, only has a 4th grade education.  On the plus side, they are right about people who work for Franklin, Ross and Associates are a scam.  Every one working there is a scam and a cheat. God only know's how many people they have ripped off.  I got a call, from one of their employees, and all i heard in the background was laughing and joking around. These people are the most un-professional people, i have ever had the displeasure, of dealing with.  I won't be paying them anything.  These people probably all have records, which is why, they work with such a disreputable company.  DON'T PAY THEM, THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY.

Debts are civil and not criminal matters.

I reverse what I have said. Paul Webb is very legitimate, I am a very educated with laws and regulations. You can ask Paul where he's located, how you can verify anything he has in his office. If you get a call from him, you should call to see what this is all about.

Not sure why every one seems so mad, Mr. Miller helped me out with my ACE account.  He was polite, but firm.  He has a job to do, like every one else.  He gave me payments and when i was done paying him, ACE returned my title to me, about 2 weeks later.  I know people get scammed, but the guys at Franklin, Ross and Associates are not a scam, or i wouldn't have been able to get my title back. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my situation.

THANKX FOR POSTING CAUSE I RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS SAME PERSON AND WHEN I CALLED HIM THIS MORNING I DIDNT HAVE MANY MINUTES ON MY PHONE AND HE TOLD ME I NEED TO CALL HIM BACK BY THE END OF THE BUSINESS DAY WHICH WAS 5 OCLOCK . WELL I CALLED HIM BACK BUT WHEN I CALLED HE ANSWERED THE PHONE TOLD ME TO HOLD ON THEN WHEN HE RETURNED  ONLY TO TRY TO DISGUISE HIS VOICE. He called my friend and together we looked online and sure enough, just what we expected a prank for money. HOW LOW!!!

I also received a call from this number.They all are bunch of SCAMMS .So dont pay anyhting to them.

I got a call from "Thomas Miller" leaving a message saying the same thing.  He didn't want me to be "blind sided"...funny. This number was 904-232-8510

I got the same call for my father, the man started threatening me and telling me if I didn't let him speak to my dad he would come to Texas and deal with me "himself". I hung up on him.

Called looking for my daughter, said " I want to get her abreast of  the situation, so it doesn't blindsided by this later on today" I asked him what is was about and he said it was against the law to discuss that with me. I said "you are a debt collector aren't you" and hung up on him.
He has now contacted my daughter and told her she was going to jail if she doen't send him money NOW. Represented him self as Thomas Miller of the law firm Franklin Ross. Wanted her to borrow money from family and friends. He ended up hanging up on her.

I got a call from them pretending to be a law firm telling me to call them back right away or I will be arrested tomorrow.
