14 year old "false" debt collection.

this caller left a message fpr me top give to my neighbor.  i feel that this in an invasion og both my and my neighbor's privacy.  rude!

This person refused to identify himself! Further, he hung up on me when questioned and he would not answer the phone when I called back. If anyone has information on this person and an address I would appreciate it.

her name was mrs. andrews in a milidly aggresive/harassing tone and wanted to here on "this" matter. she never indentifies company or legitamate reason for calling

This is a collection company. They collect money on music instruments that have not been paid in full. I found that out through my neighbor.

I received a phone call from them stating that Such and Such used me as a reference. We had no one living around us with that particular name - however have a neighbor with a close match to the name they said. I questioned the person from A,L&A. Are you looking for "". And they said oh yeah that is correct that is who I am looking for. I simple told them that there was no possible way that they could have or would have used me as a reference as I do not talk to them. Irate about my neighbor possibly using my name as a reference I went over to tell them to quit using me as their references - As I pay my bills and don't have collection companies calling here I don't want my neighbors calling my house. They pulled out their original paper work - and guess what - My name was not a reference. The company called back a few times after that and I told them to quit calling my house for my neighbor. I will not forward a message for them to call you. This is MY personal phone number and I did not give anyone else permission to use it.

Today - 04-17-09

I get another phone call from the same firm. Asking for me - they got my name wrong this time. Using the same line SUCH AND SUCH used you as a reference. I came back this time with "i don't see how because I have no idea who this person is"

I will not get into my neighbors business, nor will I give them a message.
They have no right looking up their neighbors and calling them. That is my neighbors personal business and you would think that it is against the laws of HIPPA to discuss that matter with neighbors.
