AT&T bought BellSouth a few years ago (I know, I work for them).  I put in a ticket today for static on the line.  Got a call from this number indeed checking the line.  The caller ID said BellSouth but a lot of the office and call center IDs still say BellSouth.  This is not a bad number....

I answered and the caller disconnected too.  When I called the number back, I was told in a very computer voice that it was Bell South Testing line.  We have AT&T.  ????
