received several calls with in a few days with a person asking for the same people and inquiring regarding an address not with the city I am living.... am sick and tired of this and the next time I get grief from the person on the other end I will request to speak to a supervisor and will consider the call harassment.

Turned the tables on them quickly and asked if they were the suicide hotline people returning my call. told them it was good they called because I really want to hang myself and in fact was standing on a chair with a rope around my neck. babbled on for another minute or two then kicked  a chair over and made noises like I was strangling (sounded more like I was taking a dump). If they insist on harassing you then have some fun with them...and have no mercy.  ;)

I do not owe these people and they keep calling for someone else that had this number and I have had this number for 3 yrs.

This is GMAC also known as Nuvell Financial Services and they are trying to repossess a vehicle and they are attempting to locate the vehicle.  They will call neighbors of where they think the vehicle may be located and attempt to get the neighbor to verify that "so and so" lives next door, etc.  If the neighbor says they know them they will send a repo guy out and try to find the car.

Warn them the next time they call they can be sued under the TCPA and FDCPA for intentionally harassing a non-debor.

I was woken up rudely the first time by a call from this number searching for someone. I told them I did not know That person they were asking for. 1 hour later exactly I received another call from the same number asking for a different person. There should be a way for me to get some compensation from this compnay for the way they are harrasing me.

This number is still a collection agency. It is now Ally financial. It was (as I understand) GMAC Credit.

They keep calling my family and employer but refuse to give out any information as to why they are calling.

This was a legitimate call from Ally Bank - I have a lease with them that I am in the process of transferring.  They had questions regarding the people who were applying to take over the lease.  Callback number they left on my voicemail was different.

Called from Ally, who I have my auto loan with wanting to know if I wanted to go with paper free billing. Called at 8 am and I didn't answer then called again 10 minutes later.

Someone had called my boss before open and got rude with him when he advised her we weren't open and I wasn't here. I have called these people 3 times and they do not have record of calling, don't know my name and my social is not in their system but yet this woman called and had to be extremely rude claiming the call was urgent. I do not have a car loan with Ally/Nuvell and I have never heard of them. I do not owe on my car and have no idea who to take responsibility for this because I look like an idiot to my boss! I'm sure he's thinking yeah right but I did call in front of him to prove they don't know why I would've gotten a call. I've been trying for hours to get an answer!!!

They have been calling me saying i have been placed as a refrence for people i dont even know. I receive calls all day long and frankly it is getting very frustrating. STOP CALLING ME!!!!

Stop calling my number idiot. You have been reported and authorites will enforce that you STOP making these harassing/abusive phone calls. It's obvious to everyone you call (read the posts) that Ally Financial/Nuvell Financial Services are NOT LEGITIMATE, IF SO YOU WOULD HAVE ENOUGH SENSE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF & PROVIDE INFORMATION AS TO WHAT YOUR phone calls are about!?!... I don't believe you HAVE A CLUE AS  how to conduct proper business, with that said, STOP MAKING THESE HARASSING/ABUSIVE/ANNOYING PHONE CALLS. People have no desire to put up with ignorance. THIS Nuvell Financial/Ally Financial  Services person(s) have no sense obviously. They call do not leave a message and when you try to return the phone call they only announce on recording Nuvell Financial Services and hang up. It's obviously not a legitimate business and/or they have morons working for this particular company. What a joke they are..........obviously have nothing better to do than make harassment/abusive phone calls. Whomever their service provider is should be contacted and have their service disconnected. I will research this issue and see what can be done to enforce these harassing/abusive phone calls. People like this should be locked up in a confined space and never allowed to use a phone unless under strict supervision! Idiots!

By asking about yoru neighbors, they are hoping you will give their contact information to your neighbor, or they will look up your neighbors info and contact them directly - once they have "verified" their name.  When your neighbor calls, they will ask him/her if YOU live next door and to verify YOUR address.  This is a method the collection agencies use to find someone.  Help yourself out and NEVER give the info to your neighbor, or help your neighbor out and never give them the info.  Either way, somebodies screwed!

I received a call from Allied Financial (formly GMAC financial group) trying to reach someone with my name about a car I never had and dont live at the address they said I did.  They even called my ex on his personal cell phone for someone with my name.  I called them back asking how they got these numbers (personal cell phone numbers) and they stated it was the number provided on my account.  This is clearly a lie.  I think this creditor scans/subscribes to obtain cell phone numbers to try to collect and randomly calls anyone with a name that might be the customer they are trying to collect from.  I stated this is harrassment and she the collecting agency slammed the phone on me.  Hopefully I will not hear from them again and makes me want to look at my credit history to make sure they are not attaching some debt to my name.  Would not suprise me.

Caller Id shows Ally Financial. Never done business with them and they left no message.

GMAC about a past due car loan for a relative.  They are trying to hunt down the responsible loan holder by harassing family members.  These people are ruthless and extremely rude.  If you tell them you don't know how to reach who they are looking for, they tell you that you are lying.

Received call from this number on my cell and lady said "Hello Sandy, this is so and so from Ally and we need to speak with you".  Well, no Sandy at this number and how in the world did they get my cell number?  They need to stop now with the 1st call.

Received a call from them. They let a message in my box.
The good thing is my cell phone can 'repell' undesired calls. I put them on the black list.
