You're better off trying to sell your timeshare by yourself - most of these "companies" take money upfront - we're talking several thousand at least - and they do nothing to sell the place.

i called back. they say they are a company helping people get out from under old timeshare contracts. i imagine they are really just trying to find people by luck, or they are a complete scam.
