This is a scam!  I have been receiving the same phone calls from a Brandon Smith (with a thick Indian Accent) with the numbers that you can't return a call: 631-315-0202, 385-819-13683; 212-418-871427; 591-159-11146; 662-18666110; 403-301-857760.   These are crazy numbers!  They claimed that I had a loan with US Fast Cash ($300.00) and they sent me a document for PSC, Inc. which anyone with common sense could see it was a fraud document; they even had misspelled words in the document; IDIOTS!!!  Here is the information that I looked up on the internet regarding a PSC, Inc, in New York: PSC Inc. - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaPSC Inc. is a major manufacturer of portable data terminals, ... in 1969 as Photographic Sciences Corporation in Webster, NY, a suburb of Rochester, NY. ...

THANK YOU JANE!! you have put my mind at ease.  I just got a call and thought it was weird that they wouldn't fax/email me the "affidavit".  Sylvestor Brown called me from 904-469-7962 and was very rude and kept cutting me off.  I got EXACTLY the same message you stated below, VERBATIM....the caller ID shows the number as 22350...which is why I didn't answer it.  Again, THANK YOU!!

Got a call today from Mark Smith at 904-469-7962 telling me I had to contact their attorney services immediately for a payday loan I don't have.

I have already contacted the FBI and my local PD when they kept calling my cell phone. Now they are calling me at work.

Thanks to both Cris and Jane. I received a call from these men and I too asked them to fax me a copy of the subpeona they had with charges against me. They asked if I had a lawyer. I found it strange that they said it was illegal to fax any information to me. They also called on my work phone number. These people must be stopped. I will report them to the BBB and also post them on the ripoff report online.

These people have been doing this to me for YEARS. They always call from different numbers, the latest being (904) 469-7962, which is a Florida number. Last week they left me a California number to call back. I don't even think they are in the U.S. I think they are in a foreign country routing their calls through U.S. numbers. Anyway, DON'T give them A DIME! You cannot go to jail for owing anyone money-no matter what! It is a civil matter. I asked for their address (so I can give it to the FBI, though I didn't tell them that) and they gave me a bogus address with an APARTMENT NUMBER! haha. Really, you work for United Attorney out of your apartment? The script is always pretty much the same in a very menacing voice: "This message is for Jane. Jane, the very minute you get this message I need you or your attorney to return the call. This is a very urgent, time sensitive matter. Do not ignore this call. If you do ignore this call and I do not hear from your attorney either, all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye." They won't validate the debt in writing (because it doesn't exist), and by law they are required to do that. I'm sooo tired of this after two years of their games. Now I just have fun messing with them.

PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID OR GIVE THEM MONEY-THEY ARE A COMPLETE JOKE AND FRAUD

Got a message this morning, too @ my work #. I decided to call them back and start screaming but the number is already disconnected! They called a couple of days ago under a different number and that one was disconnected, too.....Interesting - Indian accent w/an American name. Same MO each time. I've blown whistles in their voicemails when I've gotten them in the past....Do not fear - it's a scam.

Got my 3rd call from them today. They have always used my cell before, but this time they called me at work. So irritating. How do I get them to stop? They use the same script each time and when pushed for answers or something in writing, they hang up. Any way to get them to stop?

I realize these worms are scammers, so I choose to have some fun with them! I told them I was so scared and that I didn't want any trouble, and that I was willing to pay whatever to prevent court action and stay out of jail. I told them I would pay them RIGHT NOW... IF & only IF they could provide a court # and the Attorney's name, generic stuff that they should have no problem giving out. OOOOHHHH! I pissed them off so bad asking for that info! They told me they were coming for me, I told them I would be waiting with a shotgun and my Rottweiler and a cocktail, so bring it!

I am so going to get these scammers. After them turning "off" their # last night (generic disconnection message) it was back on this morning! I asked them who the practicing attorney @ the firm was & was told he could not tell me. I told him if it was a legit. firm they should have no problem telling me. He yelled t me then hung up. I called right back, told him we got off on the wrong foot, that I was returning his call, he asked me for my info... I said he would get that if he could provide me with a name, address, etc. He told me he could sue me for asking that! Can you believe it? He then hung up again. I called back again, as I have NO fear of these people... and guess what? The SAME GENERIC DISCONNECTION MESSAGE. Wow. I am not done with these circus fleas by any means!!!

Also know this... These people can use this # then when you threaten to turn them over to the police, they can turn off their # by using a generic "The # you have reached, ###-###-####, has been disconnected. Then when they think it is safe, they turn it back on! Slick.

I got the same call word for word several months apart from the same guy with different #'s. SAME EXACT WORDS!!! At first it worried me, till I turned the tables on them & started asking them the questions! They DO NOT like that! Hung up on several times! Last night when it happened, I just started having fun with them! Until they changed their #! Now I just have to wait till they call again with a different # so I can have some more fun! The only thing that bothers me is they did have names, address, even bank name! Strange!

Also... I called the number the dude left & some girl answered the line with "Law Office" I asked who the practicing attorney was, she wouldn't tell me. She hung up on me, I called back and told her I was forwarding the # to the sheriffs office, she cussed ME out. We did this several times. On my 5th call to that # (within 1 hour) a message came on and said the # had been changed! SCORE!
By the way I finally got a fake attorney name: John Davenport.

They are scammers! They had my info too, but when backed into a corner with questions, they totally freaked out! This dude called me names, told me he didn't have to tell me anything, etc.! I got a call on my home phone back in May, now my Husband got the SAME EXACT phone message on his cell phone. I listened to it, it was the same guy! Just fire back at them, they will think you are too much trouble and leave you alone. It is kinda fun making THEM squirm!

Just got a similar call from this # 9904) 469-7962 from an Indain man who claimed his name was Roy and he had a very thick accent.  He claimed he was with the Law group of Florida and that I was being sued by US Cash for stealing money from them.  He said that I would have to pay 5,000 in court fees and an officer would show up at my work tomorrow and bring me to court.  Sounds bougus but it is kinda scary cause this man had the name of my bank as well as the last 4 digits of my SS#.

Have received 2 calls from this number.  Indian man said his name was Ronnie, had last 4 digits of my SS. Very rude and inappropriate.  First call said I would not get the job.  Today I needed to have my attorney call.  Both calls very hard to understand, but tone and what was said was not right.  Do not talk to this man.

If you are targeted by these criminals, be sure to report them to all the following federal and state law enforcement agencies (most of which you can do online or over the phone):
1.    The U.S. Secret Service is responsible for protecting the country's financial infrastructure and payment systems from international and domestic threats. Call or write your local Secret Service field office to alert them to the details of this attempted extortion. The addresses and phone numbers for the local Secret Service field offices are listed at http://www.secretservice.gov/field_offices.shtml or in your phone book.
2.    Alert the FBI at https://tips.fbi.gov Be sure to tell the FBI that you are being targeted by extortionists over the phone. And if the crooks claim to be law enforcement or lawyers, officers of the court or bankers, be sure to include that information in your report.
3.    File a complaint with your local police. Most police departments will take a report over the phone.  Be sure to tell them that you're being targeted by an extortionist and give them all the details.
4.    File a complaint your state's attorney general, the contact information for whom is at www.wvago.gov
5.    File a complaint online with The Federal Trade Commission at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en
If these crooks call back, promise them nothing, pay them nothing and tell them nothing other than that you know they're a scam and that you've reported them to law enforcement. (And be sure to report them to all the agencies above each time they call you.)

By the way, here's just a small sample of numbers used by this particular group of scammers. Read the reports and you'll see the same pattern time and again -- phony organization names, thick foreign accents, and oddly worded threats that are so melodramatic and ridiculous that it's laughable:

Scam alert: Bogus debt collectors
By Leslie McFadden ? Bankrate.com
Monday, Aug. 3
Posted 2 p.m.
Bankrate reporter Leslie McFadden contributed this entry.
This scam isn't technically about credit cards, but it is scary enough to post a warning. The Better Business Bureau issued an alert today saying consumers across the country are getting phone calls from bogus debt collectors claiming default on a payday loan. Of course, the consumer needs to pay a large fee to avoid arrest -- as much as $1,000.
The caller poses as a lawyer, and may threaten extradition to face trial if the consumer doesn't pay up immediately.
What makes these calls alarming -- and perhaps convincing -- is that the perpetrators reference the consumer's personal information, such as the person's Social Security number, driver's license number, previous bank account numbers, home address -- even personal references.
"The amount of information they have is really troubling," says BBB spokeswoman Alison Southwick. She adds that the amount of data points to a possible security breach.
Spread the word to your friends and family: Don't give out personal or financial information to an unknown caller. Scammers can spoof Caller ID to display different numbers, so trust your instincts over technology.
The BBB offers these tips:
?    Ask the debt collector to provide official documentation which substantiates the debt.
?    Do not provide or confirm any bank account, credit card or other personal information over the phone until you have confirmed the legitimacy of the call.
?    File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission online if the caller is abusive, uses threats or otherwise violates federal telemarketing laws or the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
?    File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau online if you believe a debt collector is trying to scam you.

THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY. These people have been doing this to me for YEARS. I don't even think they are in the U.S. I think they are in a foreign country routing their calls through U.S. numbers. Anyway, DON'T give them A DIME! You cannot go to jail for owing anyone money-no matter what! It is a civil matter. Really, you work for United Attorney out of your apartment? The script is always pretty much the same in a very menacing voice: "This message is for Jane. Jane, the very minute you get this message I need you or your attorney on record to return the call. This is a very urgent, time sensitive matter. Do not ignore this call. If you do ignore this call and I do not hear from your attorney either, all I can do is wish you good luck as the situation unfolds on you. Goodbye." They've also threatened to arrest me and KILL me! If that were the case I'd be in jail or dead years ago. They don't give up! They won't validate the debt in writing (because it doesn't exist), and by law they are required to do that. I'm sooo tired of this after two years of their games. Now I just have fun messing with them.
