someone calls our business phone multiple times a day and says nothing, just hangs up

I receive calls from this number almost three times a day. I never answer the call. It's very annoying. I wish there was some way to stop them from calling my home phone.

They've called six times within the last 2 hours. Most of the time it's with the 1-904-485-1333 number, but sometimes they'll use 1-904-485-1141. This has been going on for weeks now.

I called this company and they said that my cell phone was a number they had for a company, which I have had my cell phone number for over 10 years now.  They said they would remove my number from the system, we'll see.  Also told them if they google there company phone number they would read numerous complaints.  So it might be worth a try to call them although it is long distance.  Good luck to all

I get calls from this number several times a day, but only when I have more than an hour's worth of airtime left on my cell phone plan.  If I answer it by mistake there is never any response.  I was under the impression that any kind of unsolicited cell phone calls were illegal and subject to heavy fines.  If they want to give me a thousand dollars every time they call then I have no problem with it!

Yep this is Nuvel ...they have serveral numbers ..they sometimes try to block their number !!

I just had a call from this number 904-485-1333 it is a financial place called Nuvell, they finance car loans...Which I do NOT have a car financed through them....

My girlfriend had the same problem with this number.... rings and you wait and it it disconnects.  This is an automobile finance company in Florida.

Received call on my cell phone.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.  I have seen the number before, but they number leave a msg.

My calls started in August, every morning, sometimes two or three times a day, but at least every morning.  "Good morning, is Roger there?"  

Somedays I ignore it, other days I try to stop it.  Why is it that when I tell them I don't know who Roger is they don't believe me- they actually think I'm covering for him.  

3 times now I have explained to them that I don't know Roger and I can't help them in any way- please stop calling my cell phone.  It's great that they can ask a list of questions-- but all they can tell me is that they are from Nuvell.......

Just a follow-up.  I still only received one call, this number is Nuvell Financial, they are associated with GMAC financing.  We have no vehicles financed, and have applied for financing.  I did get thru when I called.  I told them we were on the "no-call" list.  They offered no explanation for the call.

Message silent.  Tried to return call same message as others, "this is a restricted line".  We have no debts.  So, if this is a collection agency they're calling the wrong number.  First call this morning.

This number started calling my cell phone 20 times a day for the last 3 days. I finally started calling back from a land line blasting really loud obnoxious music into the phone, if I can't get them to stop calling my cell at least I can get the satisfaction that I punctured a few ear drums ;)

Has anyone figured out what this calls are about?

no message - one time they were looking for a family member who is an adult and I have no information on the family member.  I do not owe them money, nor am I looking for a loan - I want them to stop calling me

this call came in at my work. a recorded message asked me to "hold while i connect you"  " still trying to connect you" "sorry for the wait, thank you for your patience" "please hold while I try to connect you"

then FINALLY a person came on the line and asked to speak to an employee of our company that doesn't work in my office. I said " you can call ____ and they should be able to tell you which dept he's in" they said "thanks" and hung up without asking for the number to call!

this call comes every 15-20 min if i don't answer they don't leave a message, if i answer and don't say anything a man will say hello till i say something then he clickds over to some kind of recording about i have been approved for a $10,000 loan which i have never applied and do not want if i never answer when he says hello he hangs up. at one time the calls were id as jayshee now the call comes as unknown name i am on the no call list.when i call the number back i get a recording that i should check the number and that i am unable to make the call it

Getting calls frrm this number since last 2-3 days, several times a day. How can we block such calls ?

I have gotten about 20 calls a day for the last 3 weeks.  I'm the type of person who doesn't answer a call if I don't recognize the number and when I first started getting the calls I would let it go unanswered and an hour later same number.  So far after 3 weeks I haven't answer that call at all but it keeps calling.  It's an automated dialer from you service provider (verizon) to waste your minutes.  I haven't gone over my minutes for the last 2 months and now they are sending this calls so I can go over my minutes, but little do they know that I haven't wasted 1 minute on this ploy.

This number keeps calling my cell phone at least 20 times a day.  Very annoying.

Answered (several times). Nothing on the other end, then just clicks and disconnects.
