I replied "Who is this?"  And there was an immediate response of "if you want to know who this is, add (SN) on yahoo messenger" or something.  I deleted the messages after.

Wow how did they get my name? I should have googled this number before replying. I got the same message "hello ____ u there? Haven't heard from u in a while."

I just received a nearly identical text message from (904) 507-7379.  "hi Ida u there? Have not heard from u in a while."  (Only with my name instead.)

I got exactly the same message as Ida, except for the name.

I got a text from this number today with the same message. " hey ida u there?? haven't heard from you in a while."  I am not responding.

Got a text calling me by name (?!?) saying it had been awhile since I heard from them.  I don't know anyone in Florida or with a Florida cell number.  From what Gray says, above, I think it's some scam.  Or maybe a credit collector trying to reach my boyfriend through me.

I got a text message from this # saying to add them on yahoo messenger if I wanted to know who it was I never replied.
