YES, I KNOW ALL ABOUT THIS COMPANY. ITS A 3RD PARTY COLLECTIONS AGENCY. THEY STOP AT NOTHING TO GET TO WHO THEY WANT. THEY HARRASSED ME AND IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF HARRASSING ME. I TELL THEM TO STOP CALLING AND THEY TELL ME THEY ARE DOING THIER JOB, THEY HAVE EVRY RIGHT TO CALL WHENEVER THEY WANT. THEY ALSO CALL MY JOB, AND TRY TO TRACK ME DOWN. THEY LIKE TO SEND FALSE THREATS OUT TO TRY TO GET MONEY FROM PEOPLE TOO. THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD 1 HR TO SEND THEM 800.00 OR I WAS GOING TO GO TO JAIL.. (((OH PLEASE))) ANYWAY, THEY ARE CALLING THEMSELVES HEARTMAN & ASSOCIATES. I CURENTLY HAVE A LAW SUIT FILED ON THEM HARRASSING ME, SO IF THEY DONT STOP CALLING YOUR PLACE WHEN YOU TELL THEM TOO, I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME.. GOOD LUCK

I run a hotel this company continues to call and harass all of my employees in attempt to contact an employee that is not in a position that she can be contacted by phone.  If anyone has information on this company I would greatly appreciate it.

I am in the US Navy and I used to be stationed there at Mayport.  I dated Mary Triplett for a year and a half.  Once I broke up with her and transferred I had to call her a couple of years later due to stealing my identity.  If there is any business associated with Mary Triplett I would say that it is crooked.  I don't know if this helps.

I cant believe this stupid company, they contacted my EX mother-in-law (from 15 years ago) and told her I was a person of interest for a deposition for a legal matter.  They have contacted my employer too.  I will not be calling them back after what I read.

If they shared any information with your employer about a potential bad debt it's a violation of the privacy act and a felony.

We didn't have a phone for a while because ours broke so we just used our cell phones.  I checked voice mail tonight and there are 10 calls from a woman named "Karen in the fraud department" who says my husband is a "person of interest".  She gave a case # and this phone number.  No clue what this is but I intend to find out tomorrow and I hope this helps you!

Got a call from this number (904) 647-8123 x206 Nancy Frazier at my employer, have had several messages left from this group or person claiming to be a "fraud department" and that I had committed fraud and this is a legal matter that myself or my attorney needed to contact them promptly and failure to hear from me or my attorney then they would be contacting and passing along my file to the county office for me to be arrested and prosecution. They never provided their company name or further information beside her name and return phone number and that they were with "fraud dept.". When looking up this number on the web I did find this information for the phone number they provided....

They would not work out a payment arrangement and said i would be locked up I was anervous wreck but something told me to google the number and I am glad I did. Ia m a single mother with a heart condtion and my heart has not stopped racing since they called ... I hope they get nailed for everyperson  they have nearly given a heartattack to

Was this company Hartman and Associates aka Balance Recovery?  I am needing there contact information because 2008 they scared me into paying for a check that i defaulted on.  I did not have the funds so I used my husbands' account.  Two years later, I am now receiving a call from another creditor stating that I never paid these funds and that Hartman and Associates have been closed down.  Since my name is was not on my husbands account and we are no longer married, I am unable to obtain the bank statement that proves that I paid this debt.  The woman stated that the burden of proof is my responsibility.  If i could contact Hartman and Associates then they could provide the document to the new collections office versus having to battle with my ex... please help.

Yesterday I received a call from 904 647 8123 ext 602 Nancy-Defraud Department.  She called and transferred me to Alex.  A female that questioned me on whether I had warrants or any prior arrest.  I had taken out a Pay Day Loan and couldn't pay it back when needed. Not because I avoided it or wanted to fraud them, but because someone one hit my account, and threw all of my transactions off.  She told me that I had 2 hours to come up with 1,000.  Which I couldn not.  I panicked.  Began to cry and attempt to work out payment arrangements.  She wouldn't except.  Then she proceeded to tell me that she would forward my information to the prosecuters office of Baltimore County, and press charges for fraud immediately.  Me being dumb, I got even more upset.  She in turn told me that since she couldn't get a word in(because I was so upset and crying), she was going to forward my information to the Prosecutors office and they would hunt me down.  I called my friend who is a paralegal for Harry Chase in Baltimore.  He's an excellent attorney.  I was informed that this was b***s***.  I was also informed that you cannot be prosecuted for a pay day loan.  It's like taking a personal loan with the bank.  They can't do it.  The law is really clear.  When I arrived at work today, I was informed that Nancy called my job and gave them all of my case information.  I will be reporting this Mr. Chase ASAP.  I also received a call from 1-904-647-8123.  This is bogus!!!

Hi Everybody! I had the same calls from the same people. I was terrified bc they threatened to send the sheriffs to my house for cashing a fraudulent check. I had previously worked at a large cable corporation in Philadelphia, PA. I cashed my last paycheck and it was returned by Ace Check cashing as "refer to sender".  Hartman & Associates, a branch of Balance Recovery Network (BRN) is the company that Ace uses to collect money they believe they are owed. The woman from BRN told me that I needed to pay this check by 5pm (it was 4:30) or the sheriffs were going to pick me up, bc apparently they had been trying to contact me for a year. I freaked out and paid the balance ($1,900) with my credit card. Then I called my previous employer and let them know what happened. Apparently there was an issue with payroll and there was an issue with the check and it was seen that I was still owed the money. I spoke with Jeff Thomas, Sr. Account Rep from BRN who told me that if my employer sent them a check, they would refund my payment. The company I worked for overnighted them a check for the full amount. I have all proof from BRN and my former employer that everything would be corrected. After BRN received the check, I spoke again with Jeff Thomas who said once the check cleared, they would refund the payment I gave them. He said 7-10 days. I never received the money, and they changed their phone number, changed their website and disappeared. I have done PLENTY of research on the wonderful thing called the internet...and found LOTS of info on the company(ies) that are linked, the people who own them, their personal info (addresses) and even their family members....I love GOOGLE!!. I have contacted an attorney for claims court in Duval County, FL who is filing the papers for me. I am sueing the 2 companies (Balance Recovery network and Hartman Associates), the Owners (Winfield Scott Hartman (who by the way is on Myspace), Mary K. Triplett, Leon Whitfield, Rowland Williams and even a few of their family members until we resolve the issue. I have 3 of the owners personal home addresses...and they will be served the papers shortly at home and at their 2 "business" locations. I am tired of dealing with this and they will go down. If anyone else has a claim against them and would like to address this with me, or start a class action suit..let me know. There is still a little time to change the suit.

ANYONE who get a call from them, please DO NOT fall for it, and let me know if you get a phone number that works. They have 38 phone numbers floating around the internet...none of them work. I also have a request in with the Duval court house to obtain phone records...so we can see how many numbers they had/have to bring on other charges. I tried to contact the defendents many times, though unworking phone numbers, emails and even on Winfield Hartman Myspace page...to no avail. If you work for them, do the right thing and give up the info...you have messed with the wrong person!

I have been receiving calls from this same # 904-647-7462 they threatened to come to my job and process me and then lock me up and i wouldnt be released until this was paid. I inquired why i wasnt notified of the legal action because i work for a collections agent. I didnt rec any warrant or anything the ladys name was Jenna Cruz she was very rude would not let me talk she hung up on when i told her i couldnt pay today. I then called back to talk with a supervisor and the secretary was rude and nasty and wouldnt let me speak with a supervisor. This is ridiculous i've never had anything like happen to me for before.

I really wished i would've researched them a lot sooner.  I have been received harrassing phone calls from this place as well...Unfortunately, they scared me into paying the balance i owed...only, it wasn't even my money, i borrowed it from my sick sister who needed it ...right before the holidays !!  I made an appointment for consultation with a lawyer to get to the bottom of this.  They told me the same exact thing they told you.  And I unfortunately, couldn't afford to take the chance and lose my job or get processed at my job...for internet fraud.  Are you succeeding with your legal procedures against them ??

I get calls from these people too. They call me at my job. they go by Hartmin and associates..They are not a legal firm. There are no attorneys. This is a collection agency. They threatend that I would be charged with internet fraud, I was going to lose my job. They were going to "throw me in front of the judge" They also said they were going to "flag" my license and social security number..because I was going to be pulled over for "speeding" and get arrested since i was flagged. They threatend to speak to my supervisor. It goes on and on...believe me..im in the works for a lawsuit to handle this harrasment!!!!! they also have another number they go by. 904-551-7427
