the same lady called me Olivia Gates she said she was an investigator for Flordia States Attorney Office claiming she was going to lock me up in 2 hrs so i called the States Attorneys Office they never heard of her.Do Not Send her money is all the lady told me so i didnt glad i didnt she also has another number she calls by she talks all professional at first then she says stupid stuff to know she not real what she going to do come to the state you live and arrest you herself no she not she going to call county on you but she dnt know what county you live in cuz she asks for your address she is a stupid b****h

Do not answer the phone if the above number shows up with caller ID (The State of Florida) is it in fact a debt collecting scam.  They just got me for $730!  Stating that my daughter would be going to jail within 2 hrs if not paid!!  They totally sounded legite and my daughter did have some outstanding debts.  

Later today my daughter spoke to an attorney who said it sounded like a scam. She lookes up this phone number and sure enough it was.  I had to cancel my credit cards and get new ones.  We also reported to the police dept and we will call Florida Attorney General's office and report this.  

When the transaction went through to our bank it was from New York.   There are many crooks and states involved in this scam!!

Same thing happened to me! They claimed I wrote a check in one state but can prove at the time I was living 400 miles away! Won't give any information because "they don't reveal their sources." Thomas Gibbson eventually gave me a story about him being a private investigator. I even agreed to send them information proving it couldn't be me, but he said he didn't want it because that wasn't "his job." Since when does a valid law enforcement officer not want to learn the truth and prosecute the right person?! B.S. don't buy into this scam!

Received a call from an Olivia Gates who said she was with the fraud divison collecting a debt for a check that I didn't write.  She started in on how she was a spiritual person and how she wasn't one of those investigators who was having problems at home and she just wanted to get the matter resolved.  she kept putting me on hold stating that she was signing signatures for her people because they were headed out to court.  I started asking questions on how much the amount was and where the check was made and she couldn't give me any information and then when I wanted her to fax me documentation she started going off on me and telling me that there wasn't an amount and that there was no case number.  At first she asked if they had given me the case number before passing the call to me and then when I aksed for the case numbetr she told me that you get a case number when the case is filed.  I was so confused. I called back to try and get the amount once again and she told her assistant to tell me that she was pressing harrassment charges on me and all I did was call and ask for a dollar amount and a case number.  watch this company.
