Automated message saying they could reduce our interest rate on credit cards. And that this was a final notice

Definitely a scam, got a recorded call re "urgent that I contact them re: my eligibility for credit card, press 1 to speak to someone." I'm on Do Not Call registry so I pressed 1 to inform them. When I said so (politely) they hung up on me instead of apologizing and saying they would remove my name, like a legit business would. Spoofed number, since call back says it's disconnected.

An animated dial up service contacted us offering to lower our credit card interest rate, if I push a certian digit on my phone. When a person responded, I asked them for a number to contact them, and they hung up.  Caller ID just had Florida and the number (904) 779-8982.  Has to be a scam

Didn't reconize number or caller

Apparently this number is being spoofed by several companies or by a telemarketer calling for a lot of companies. 1-904-779-8982 is disconnected. I guess it was, these thieves were using it so you don't know who they are. I played along so I could get the company info. The outfit who called me is Automotive Warranty Solutions. 1-800-376-5688. I guess sending out deceptive direct mail advertisements was not good enough for them, they called against 2 DNCLs and I know by how they referred to me they got the info out of the book.

Received a call from this number today, my caller ID just said "Florida".

The caller offered to reduce my credit card debt if I have more then $2500 in balances. She asked for my credit card number. I stopped her and asked for her name, company address, and their toll free line if they have one. She hung up before I was finished.
