Received a call from 904-900-8344 when I asked for his first and last name he hung up and didn't answer when I tried to call back heavy accent.

Threatening someone with a claim that you committed fraud, which is criminal, violates tons of laws.  Tell them as soon as they call you that you're recording the call for the Attorney General.

I continue to get calls from this number as well...not stating name of company just saying legal.

Hi! I just received a phone call from this place and I'm thankful I read your comments; I had a feeling this was not a legitimate company.

This is a scam......my daughter fell for it and paid them over $700, we filled out a dispute form with our credit card company and they are now investigating this.   The name of the person who called was TIffany Atkins, not her real name obviously...I have heard this company and many more are connected to a Douglas Mackinnon head of a huge ring of con artists.  He actually works out of New York  which is where the money was drawn from our credit card.  Notify Florida Attorney General office asap.....block this phone number from your phone as well.

I got a call from a lady this mornignsaying she was calling baout an investigation and myself or my lawyer would ned to call her ASAP before further legal action. THese damn ppl are annoying and rude!! I asked her for further info as to what she was investigating but she would not say and asked me to provide her with a socoal security number

I cleared a check with them today for a loan I had I paid it then recieved a letter of clearence threw my email and I had one sent to my address so just a heads up to those who think the check investigative services is a joke they are a real company whom recovers check from outstanding loans and worthless checks.

I have found proof that the loan that I had has been paid. I had to have them mailed to me because they were from back in 2009. Before I remembered dealing with this before I paid a different company in May 2011 the same amount. SO now I have proof that I have paid this twice and I am a little sick of this song and dance. I just received a message from a Rachel at this number and she says that she is with the "fraud division" and it would be in my best interest to call her back. Well earlier this week alone, MIchael Sutherland with "Fedelis" andKaren White with "Harris and Associates" have also called me and wanted to talk about the same supposed default on my part. I scanned and emailed proof to Karen White and have not heard from her since. I have stopped responding to Michael Sutherland because he is rude. I am about to call Rachel back and re-explain myself to her. So sick of the threats. I urge, PLEAD, that all of you that are receiving these types of calls report all of them to the FTC. They will help us when they see what a large problem this is. A girl that I work with is getting the same calls and while in the grocery store the other day a woman working there said that she had also been getting these calls. It's an epidemic.

Something about she was with the "fraud division" and that she needed to get back to me before she could proceed with the county? Probably some bs online loan company they sold the debt too..When I called back she would not tell me the name of the company..only said she was "reffered" to me and when I asked by who, she said she didn't know??? Than I told her that I would let the FCC and FTC know about it and she told me to have a good day and hung up.I did file a complaint to the FTC about it as that is violation of the FTC.
