I got a call from this number but since I didn't know who the caller was I did not pick up. It was someone by the name of Angelina I believe. She left a message stating to call 888.383.7500 and give a reference number that she provided me with to make sure it was me calling. I was skeptical about it so I called Bank of America to verify some information and I was told that Bank of America does not call its customers. So I then called the above number and I specifically told the representative that I was skeptical about the call and that I didn't want this to be fraud. He told me "whoever told you that Bank of America doesn't call its customer was wrong". Basically, it is a legit call because I recently apply for a US Airways check card to be linked to my checking account but there was a problem. I also Googled the number given to me via voicemail and I found that others whom applied for a savings/checking accounts online received the same call.

This is bank ofamerica they called me but I didnt answer , But it turns out it was my loan processer telling me that my home loan had gone through. This is not fruad the reason they dont answer when you call back is because that is not a direct line.

No message, this number keeps calling my fax line.

904-987-6330 Calls but leaves no message

I know the call is from bank of america in Florida.  The person who calls is Sami Salleh (or something like that).  She has a lame job of collection at the bank.  Her supevisor is: Tamura Cottrell and her number is 904-987-0504.  Sami has also called from a non-land line, not surre why she is.  but my caller id picked up 703-599-1184. mite not be correct, but 703 is a VA number.  call and complain.

I believe it is just Bank of America's call center out of Jacksonville, FL, and not just BOA's collections dept. Interesting though that the caller ID said "Unknown" which I mentioned should be corrected on their part if they don't want people to hang up on them. They were able to verify my account info so I new they were legit. The reason why they called me was to verify a credit lock I had on my account and answer questions to lift it in order to process an auto loan. No biggie.

This person (Joey) has called my mother (79 yrs old)  three times in one week, my sister in-law and my brother in-law in the same week. He tells them that he needs to get in touch with me to dicuss a very 'Inportant matter'

It is 100% Bank of America's Collection department!

This phone number just called asking for a Terry ****, the person made up a company name and proceded to ask my name, to wish I said I do not need to give her this information. The person was rude and obscene and said that it was sad i couldn't give her my name. This person said she would keep on calling as she yelled on the phone. She said her uncle worked for my company and continued to call for 3 or 4 hours. EXTREMELY RUDE

I just received a call from this number, stating that it was from bank of america. The representative stated his name was Joe that they were looking for a customer by the name of John Yamid, that apparantly was living in my area. The address they stated he lived at was Rayford Rd, but I forgot the number. I asked what town this location was in as it was unfamiliar, and the representative stated that it was in Texas. I live in Colorado, so this was obviously wrong and stated that fact. The caller apologized and ended the call.

What is odd that the persons name they were looking for was dissimilar to mine. The legitimacy of this call also comes into question as the company shouldn't be calling random people asking them where to find other people.

This is a general number used at bank of america and you will definitely want to take this call. It is usually not for collections and if you call back will not route you to a representative. The actual call-back number would be an 800#, but if you do not answer it you may not have the CORRECT number to call back.

Got a call from a so called Bill Johnson from Bank of America about my loan for a new vehicle. He wanted to know why I have a life lock on my credit report,so I asked him why in the world does he need to know that if my credit score is impeccable. So I preceded to ask how do I know you are who you are over the telephone and he got extremely irritated that I would ask such a question. So I told him if you are from BOA to prove it and all he could do is tell me to call back. I called back and no one answers. So, I guess I will take my business elsewhere and never do business with BOA again. If they ask Collection Agencies to call to check up on your status of credit before you make one single payment ,then this institution in my honest opinion can go pound salt.

JUST IN- IF YOU GET AN OFFICAL LOOKING LETTER FROM BANK OF AMERICA AND YOU CALL-800-386-4017,WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER,YOU WILL START TO GET CALLS FROM 904-987-6330,CALLER ID FLORIDA.JUST REMEMBER BANK OF AMERICA WANTS THE FEDS TO BAIL THEM OUT,YET THEY WONT WORK WITH US!

THIS IS A COLLECTION SERVICE WHO WORKS FOR BANK OF AMERICA. WATCH WHAT YOU SAY,IT CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU. ONCE YOU GIVE YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO B.O.A. THESE COLLECTORS WILL START OFF AS BEING YOUR BEST FRIEND,BUT BEWARE THEY TURN ON YOU AND THREATEN YOU AFTER A FEW CALLS. THEY WORK ON COMMISSION SO THEY WILL PROMISE YOU ANYTHING TO GET SOME MONEY. ONCE YOU ASK FOR YOUR DEAL IN WRITING THEY TRY TO BULLY YOU. GO RIGHT TO YOUR LOCAL BRANCH AND DEAL ONLY WITH THEM.

Regarding 904-987-6330  If you are working with Bank of America on a mortgage loan you might want to take this call.  They probably do not leave a message because it is a verification center and the person you get when you call back would not have your loan info readily available.

Caller asked for a random name, when I told him he had the wrong number, he proceeded to ask me what MY phone number was. I asked what number was he trying to dial and none of the numbers he dialed (my number) was even close to the number he claimed to have been calling.
