I just got the same notice from a company named MCS ground, with a number to call within 48 hours, i called the number and after several attempts, finally got a voice mail with the name of teh company and the hours of operations, I leave in mississauga.

I had same message.  Called and got answering machine.  My dog hopes someone breaks in.  Since the removal of his voice box, the only noise is from the breakee when they are bitten.

Got the same notice stuck to my mail box today... someone was home and no one rang the door bell or even knocked at the door. I am in Peel Village Brampton close to shoppers world

I also recieved ecocan notice today.  I was expecting a pkg. so I called and got answering machine.
Don't know what this company is about but the notice is the same color as Ups del. service.  Hope someone soon finds out what they are about.

Hi I live in the same area.  I received the notice dated todays date Aug 3.  Thought it looked fishy so came online to research company.  I will definitely be calling the anti-fraud centre tomorrow! So sick of these scammers

I received the same "EcoCan Notice" - Dated July 18/2011.  No other information on the card so I decided to call the number at the bottom - Got the same Voicemail message. Wondering if it's some kind of SCAM to find out "who's home" at "what times" during the day.  I live in the Hwy 410 & Queen area so I guess these psychotic twisted monsters are targeting a very wide area.  Will definately be alerting the police and the Anti Fraud Centre.  Anyone else in this same area receive this "notice"?

Found this on my mailbox this morning. Its really odd because i'm sure no one bothered to ring the bell or knock the door before leaving it. I found it at 9am stuck to my mailbox and I was awake a few hours before that. I'm also expecting a package so I called the number and it said the voice mail was full. Sounds like a scam, and I really hope this isnt a way for people to case a house to break in. Anyone have any news on this thing?

I live in Brampton and I got this notice on July 26th, 2011 and i was expecting a package to be delivery July 26th so i assumed it was that, but i called more than 10 times and left messages for them to call me back about the package, but no response and same thing phone rings and they say leave a message. To top it off i never received my package and im having it re delivered.......this does worry me now that im reading all these post.

I LIVE IN BRAMPTON TOO, AND GOT THIS NOTICE TOO. THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE HOME, SO IT MUST BE SOME SORT OF SCAM. REALLY SCARY THAT THEY SEEM TO BE TARGETING BRAMPTON. I CALLED AND GOT THE SAME VOICE MESSAGE THAT OTHERS GOT

Got the same blank ECOCAN NOTICE at my door this morning (2011-07-21). A quick canada411 reverse lookup on the phone number leads to "W Systems" in Mississauga. Called and got their voicemail claiming "excess call volumes" and mentioning an "ECO CHECK" delivery. Sounds like another marketting scam to me.

Same with me , Notice on the door looks like mail notice, call the number want to massage, f****ng stupid people waste my time , if I will see some one putting this one on my door I will call 911.
I made a mistake to even call them, don't call back they might record your number.

I got notice today too in M section.  Call number; same recorded greeting everyone else says.  Called police to report they can only investigate if money was given but citizens can call phonebusters that investigates even if no money given and even if not over the phone and RCMP etc investigate.

Ok so what king of action we can do to stop this spam?

I too live in Brampton N section and got the messgae yesterday.  Unfortunately I googled after I left voice mail because I am expecting a package.  I will be calling the fraud squad and advise everyone to do likewise.

That is scary. I live in Brampton and I got the same notice. What if it's some elaborate way to find out if someone is home or not?

I spoke with my neighbor and they recieved the same notice.

I have contacted the peel regional police and they recommended contacting the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre as well.  There is no reason for an individual to spend the money to print out these "delivery forms" and pay to have someone post it on doors unless there are ulterior motives.

Go on line with your complaints and report it to the Canadian Anti Fraud Centre.  They have the ability to disrupt service of the phone number.

The Canadian Anti Fraud Centre is a national call centre that gathers and reviews Fraud reports within Canada in order to determine current trends.

They add complaints to their database and are able to disrupt phone numbers and websites of individuals and businesses that are involved in fraudulent activity.

I got the same notice in my door saying to call this number within 48 hours...when i called nobody answer the phones so my best guess is to report it to the police ....Funny everyone who i have read the comments live in Brampton .....

i actually was pulling out of my driveway as the notice was being left at the neighbour's door.
it was a female walking and taping these notices to the doors, when asked what it was for, she was like i dont know, i am only delivering the notice. it was in the brampton area of clark and folkstone

got the same notice thoght it was a missed pkg talked to a guy who says they want to do a servey and will give me a gift card to my choice of stores if i do the servey, i cancelled the day of to many people saying they want to look round at what they can steal at another time when were not home, now have more locks on doors and neighbours all informed, were in brampton , anyone else?

we got the same exact thing. where is everyone living that received these notices? we are in the brampton area and I am totally freaked out.

We got a notice and hubby phoned.  It was suspicious.  Probably casing the house.  My son now has a camera set up and recording.
