Hey I have the best solution as I keep getting the calls.
1. find out the address of your local police station
2. when they call go through the process as if you are buying the package
3. refuse to give any personal information other than to book an appointment, give them a fake name and the address to the police department.

That way you waste their time and cost them some time and money!!!!!!! Have a little fun with them for a change!

I get a phone call from this person a least once a week.  I've asked him to stop...obviously doesn't work.  It's not always the same phone number and it is always not in service or cannot be completed as dialed.  There must be a way of stopping this....obviously he really isn't looking for business.  What's his game?

Who is this company calling us and saying that they represent Hydro Power ? Why are they calling us since we are registered on the do not call register ?

He has an Indian Accent said he was from Air Duct Cleaning Services in Mississauga  - I said that
we don't need his Services -  he still calls weekly again and again and again.
I think we are dealing with something else - not a Telemarketer who wants to sell his Product.

This is Harassment and must be stopped. This is a very clever Individual with many Phone Numbers
it should be traced by the Phone-Company or the Police they have responsibility too -
no matter how many Numbers he has. This is 2011 it can be done.

I have been getting calls every day for at least 4 months.  I called and put myself on the DNCL and every other telemarking call stopped but this air duct cleaing telemarketing did not. I made a complaint with the DNCL and it stopped for about 2 weeks or so and is now started again.  I have been writing down all the numbers the guy calls from but I swear it's the same guy..I also called Durham Police and they told me there is nothing they can do about it...here are the numbers

I have also spoken to Bell who told me that the company these numbers are registerd to has 100's of numbers so they can't block them all from my phone...this if f'ing ridiculous...they are seriuosly harrassing me and they can't possibly be getting any business so what is the purpose of this company???  They won't even give you a return phone number if you ask them for one..and they hang up on you when you tell them you ar not interested.

What can be done to make it stop?

So, if the "number I have reached is not in service" then the company is spoofing the number, isn't there a law about that?

Anyway... Whomever they are, they are indeed breaking the DNC list rules.

We need a better plan

This person has called me numerous times. He was saying that he was from the Air Duct Cleaning Company. Before, when he called my house on 905 256 7326, my daughter picked up and he asked her where her parents were. My daughter instantly hung up saying that we didnt need any duct cleaning. The exact next minute he called again, then my wife picked up the phone. Then he started harrasing her and then she also hung up. He called again after a few hours and I picked up the phone aand the next thing you know...he started swearing to me as well. He also said he wanted to talk to a lady in the family. He started asking me my name but I didnt tell him and then I asked him who he is and he hung up.
The actual answer to this question is that he's just trying to harrass a lot of people he doesn't know. This number is not in service if you call back so I'd recommend we should go to the cops and maybe they can to something like perhaps tracking him down.

Get a whistle, like a referee whistle for soccer or hockey. Next time he calls, blow it over the phone. See if he ever calls back again.

Wow - this guy just called me too!  He asked for us by name and I was immediately suspicious by his pronouciation.  I told him we were not available and he wanted to know when he should call back.  He assumed I was a child in the house and started asking me who I was and how old I was.  Talk about sick!  I told him I would not release that information and that I could not tell him when a good time to call back would be.  I asked him who he was and he did tell me he was calling from an Air Duct Cleaning company.  He kept pushing it, so I hung up the phone.  We have call blocking on our telephone, so I blocked his number.  If he calls back from other numbers, I'm going to continue to block him.  Talk about rude!

Follow up from last message...reason he is so brazen, calls are via internet telephone so it is more difficult to trace. Police are on his trail and expect to catch him soon.

I  have been getting calls on both my home phone and my home office line from the same guy. I have told them multiple times that we are on DNC as well as advising that we are not interested. He uses my last name and calls at least 3 times per week. I threatened to have him stopped and was told I wouldnt do that. I have contacted the local police and will report him.

905-256-7326 -- just called me too - AGAIN !!!  At least three times a week to clean my air ducts.  I work from home so this is ridiculously disruptive.  The CRTC DNC list is a joke -- they barely fine anyone, and when they DO fine someone, they never bother to collect.

I have been getting phone calls from these numbers for a long time now. I have told the to stop as I am on the do not call list. They just keep calling. I finally put in a complaint to the CRTC to investigate. I hope the CRTC gets those a***oles.

This idiot phones at least 3 times each week with some air duct cleaning promotion.  Lately he has given my phone number to others who call me to complain about his phone calls.  Any ideas how to stop this guy?

man called knowing my husband's name and claiming that he booked him for duct cleaning services. when i told him he was disobeying the law, as he repeatedly has called our number and we have asked him to be put on his internal do not call list. i have complained 5 times to the national do not call registry about his company, duct cleaning services, already. he says he doesn't have to follow the law, has sworn at me and hangs up, or calls me back a second time.

I have also had this same problem.  They have been calling me non stop for about 5-6 months.  He calls from 2 numbers: 416-226-5634 and 905-526-7326.  Although when I pick up the phone (as I am a female) he always asks for the "man" of the house.  I think he tries to get a rise out of me.  Anyhow we threatened to call the police, he laughed and then called us back 3 more time in 2 days.  So we did it.  We called the police and filed an accurance.  They told us that the more people that call the police, the more they will be able to do.  They need more complaints.

Also this has nothing to do with the do not call list.  The police told us that this is just some guy making random calls.  The also told us to black the numbers.  So thank you KK I will block the third number you have listed.

I have had this guy call at least twice a week for the past 4 months.  I am on the DNC registry and he still calls (from Air Duct Cleaning).  I have reported him twice to the DNC registry.  I don't know what else to do to have him stop calling.  I am starting to think the registry is a crock.

That's the beauty of caller-ID...you don't know the number...don't answer the phone.  I got the same number calling tonight...I just ignored the call.  If it's legit or someone you should know...they will leave a message...don't you think???

This man with a strong Indian accent, also got a call today from this weirdo, asking for the owner of the house...I was like they are not available, because it sounded suspicious.  In the back of my mind I'm wondering why is a telemarketer calling me on a saturday at 7:25pm.  He was like "I love you" so I was like excuse me and he repeated himself. I hung up on him.
I was shocked that a grown a** man with kids that I heard in the background had so much time on his hands...Did anyone figure out what's going on with this fool??  I swear if he calls me again, he's going to regret it because I'm going straight to the cops. I'm surprised he hasn't called back, I guess the sternness in my voice sent him a message.

I just received the same kinda call! He asked for my sister and wouldnt tell me who he was, or whom he was calling on behalf of until just before hanging up. All I could understand him say was something about a company called: "Alliance ____". Didnt hear the second part of what he said but looking for some insight on who this indian guy calling is?

Hey did anyone figure out who this prick is? I received a phone call from this same number. I did a google search to try and see if this number is listed in case I need to report this matter, and instead i was surprised to find this website where other people have made the same complaints. This person also called back twice, and was asking to speak to the lady of the house, and then proceeded to throw in some profanities. Anyways if anyone figures this out please post a msg. this is not a concerning matter, just more curious who this low life is and what hes trying to accomplish here.

stranger with weird accent call and said my name and when I ask who is this he say bad word and use profanity language and hung up and this is the third call in the last 3 weeks

A man with an east Indian accent called my mother the other day looking for a man with a certain last name, but no first name. When my mother questioned who he was and asked for the 1st name of the person he was calling for, the caller responded that he was on "official business" and needed to speak directly with the person he was calling for. My mother hung up but the man called right back the very next minute. This time, a male family member picked up the phone. After the family member said he wasn't who he was looking for, the caller told him :"f*** you!" and hung up the phone.
