This is collections agency called Global Credit and Collections.  I have had dealings with them in the past, and received the "mysterious text message" also asking me to call them back, only to get a voicemail.  Check your credit report to ensure you don't have anything outstanding with them.  Their website is:  http://www.globalcollection.net/

This number text my cell phone and said please call and left the number I text back asking who it was and got a text back saying thank you for using text to landline. WTF? How did a landline text me first who is this? Help?
