I receive phone calls with no message left a number of times when I'm away from my phone.

I didn't know how to read the comments for this number until after I submitted the above lengthy comment. However, reading Rick's comment, I do have dealings with CitiFinancial. I recently fell one payment behind - mere forgetfulness, and I took care of this yesterday. The timing of these calls definitely fits with the possibility that CitiFinancial is behind them. That possibility will be seem much more likely if - now I have brought my account up-to-date - the calls stop.

This number and the number 1-905-361-4635 called me regularly for weeks about 6 or 7 months ago. Then the calls, for no reason I can see, stopped coming. They started again about 2 or 3 weeks ago. According to the call history on my cell phone, 15 of 60 phone calls (this includes incoming and outgoing) over the past two weeks have been from one of these two numbers. I never answer these calls, and the caller never leaves a message. I phoned both these numbers to see what would happen, and received a busy signal.
I have listed these numbers in my cell phone contact list and have identified them there as "Spam 1" and "Spam 2". I have chosen the same ring tone for both - a ring tone I use for no other contacts - so I can tell when they are calling.

This number calls my home number 2-3 times a day. My display shows OUT OF AREA and 1-905-361-4634, but no message. I don't answer calls from numbers or names I don't recognize. If this is as some of you say Citi Financial and I owe money or a problem with my account, you are wrong.I don't have an account nor have I every had any dealings with any financial institutions; except my own bank.

A man, middle-eastern sounding man, called and left me a message.  He said, "Never take steroids."  Some other man in the background was yelling at him, "Shut up"...

This is  citi financial number. They are calling because you either owe them money on an account or because there is an issue with your account that needs attention. It is an automated dialing service and half the time they don't even answer when you say hello. I've resorted to just blocking their number. They are a pain in the as*...

I get calls from this number sometimes up to 4x daily. Today, someone stayed on the phone long enough to say hello on my voicemail (and the call didn't even register on my call display), the third time they called, I made it to the phone and a woman said hello then dispoed the call. I called the number back and just got a fast busy signal! What is that supposed to mean???

I too have been getting calls from this number, but have done something about it, because they are breaking the rules. One that they broke, is that they called me too early in the morning. On both a Saturday and Sunday morning, they called before 8:30 AM. They are not allowed to do this. The second regulation is that they are using an automatic dialer, which does not identify the Company calling. The message only said "please hold for an important message". They are not allowed to do this when using an automatic dialer.!! The message must state who the call is coming from.  So, first I called my phone company. They said I could, for an extra monthly fee, subscribe to "selective call blocking". I told them I did not want to pay to stop something that should not have been happening. Then, I made a complaing online to the CRTC. They responded very quickly. They ordered my phone company to investigate, because IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY!!!The phone company has 20 days to report on their investigation. When I get the results of the investigation, I will report to all. My advice to everyone is to do the same when ppl/companies break the rules. But only contact the CTRT if your phone company does not help you. Good luck all.

I keep on receiving calls from this number up to 9 times per day on my cellular and they never leave a message, my feeling on this is that if you wish to speak with me directly, leave a message so I can return the call instead of harassing me with these type of calls!I would also like to point out that I do not answer any calls that I don't recognise when they come up on my call display. Sometimes these organizations have a staff to call various numbers and there performance is based on how many calls per day...

Call often (2-3 times a week since about a month) without leaving messages ...

answered a call on my home phone from this number and was told I was late with a payment. I have no loan with the company indicated.

this number calls two plus times a day don't know who it is, they never answer and no name shows up on our phone. been getting calls from kansas city a 913 area code number and a few from nebraska a 402 area code don't know anyone from either places this all started in oct 07

Calls leaves no message

This number has been calling my cell for over two weeks will call 3X to 4X.I have answered 5X,telling them that I am not the person they are looking for,continue to call.

allstream out of oakville..000-000-000 416-646-8801 there are so many they are all from the same place....probably telemarketing i have blocked 5 of these this week alone...they even call in the PM  as soon as you block this number  they use another number...and call the next day with it.

I had the same happen to me. They call me about payment and I had my payment on the date before it was due and a payment at the end of the month to cover for the next month and they called me the following month stating that I didn't pay for that month. I told them that I did, but early cause I was going to be away, so I made it before. They still wanted a payment. If it is not on their payment period, they consider it a non payment for that month....STUPID COMPANY! My payment plan shouldn't kick in until after the 16 months and they started two months after cause they said I messed up on the payment for the furniture that was suppose to be picked up in the 24 hour period from that area in the store where you can get things half price, or for a lot less. Some is damaged, but it's good enough for purchasing. I didn't pay the full amount for 1 item until I came to pick it up within the 24 hour period and they decided to cancel the 16 month deal for the new furniture I purchased on the Leon's card. That I do not see as fair. It shouldn't have anything to do with my purchases on the card.

I had the same thing happen to me, and they won't resolve the problem at all. They keep calling me and the money keeps going up and up with 29% interest. I do not like this company at all. They just want money and no help given to anyone else to resolve problems.
