This is a debt collection agency hired by Rogers Communications Inc.

this is a number for the collection agency called Global- call them back and tell them to remove you from the phone list- within 24 hrs no more calls from them using any of their variety of numbers to harass

I got a call from them, called them back and someone answered right away after I hit "0".  I said to the girl who answered, I get calls from you all the time, you are calling a business number - how can you not figure out that you have a wrong number?  If you aren't smart enough to figure that out, glad I don't use your company's services.  I told her I did a google search on their number and you guys sure have a bad reputation.  She said she put me on the DNC list.

I get two to three sells a day from my phone. I don't pick up as k am at work but this is also in the evening. How did they whoever they are obtain this private cell phone number? I am tempted to go to the police with this.

identified themselves as Global (just global) Recoded message to say the holder of the phone may be In posession of property that doesnt belong to them and to hold the line.  
Global is in posession of my property, being my phone Number and harassing me, despite being on a do not call list.

They've been calling me everyday as well. I called them back and a lady verified my number and I confirmed I was not the person they were looking for. I've had this number for almost 11 years so someone messed up when sending 'accounts' to these people.

i'm glad i got a galaxy s3 phone the blocking feater on here is exellent, every time a ashole number calles and its not from my area i add it to the black list and they call but it don't ring or show any thing, just when you go into the log list it shows that they called thats all, all smart phones have an app like that just find one and your b***s*** worries will end, and call the "do not call list" in your area an log your number there, you'll be happy you did...

I've been receiving these calls about the same time as I got my new cell phone. I had called them back at one point 2 yrs ago as they were calling for some guy I've never heard of. They never once informed me who they were and were so extremely rude to me. I asked to be removed from their list since I don't owe money and I don't know who they are looking for. I was basically accused of "hiding" this guy from them and they were actually threatening. The man asked me the stupid question that if this wasn't the guy's phone nber, why would he give it to them. Duh! Unfortunately, they are harassing me. I kept asking to have my name/# removed from their list and he finally said that he will have it removed. That was 2 yrs ago and I still get these calls. I have since moved and changed numbers but that hasn't stopped the calls. Even though they are traced to Global collections, this should be illegal to harass innocent people. Unfortunately, in Canada, the police say that we are "allowed" to be harassed once a day = well, more than once a day they consider to be harrassement.
I receive many calls from a whole bunch of different numbers which when I look into are *ALL* traced back to Global. They don't stop. And they don't remove you from their list...at least they never did with me even though they said they did as we were talking. This is just wrong. Don't answer any phone numbers you don't know on sight, is all I can say.

 For me it was 20 min ago... very annoying as this collection agency has been calling me 8-10x daily from all sorts of different numbers for over 2 years now... I never answer ANY calls that do not come up recognisable. This company is trying to collect money on behalf of Rogers. When they first started calling me demanding payment... I was still in the middle of negotiations with Rogers about this bill since I was charged for 3 months of sevice AFTER I had already had all service cancelled and physically shut off outside and all of their equiptment returned and moved to a new residence... I did not (and still don't) think I should have to be muscled by some collection agency to pay over $1000 for services I did not even get!!!
 This collection agency won't listen to reason... and beyond beong harassing with the times of their calls and the frequency of them.... They have told me some pretty dirty and low down stories to try and convince me to call them back.... I have been told I'd won a trip and jist needed to call them back... I was told a friend was in jail in another country and was looking for financial help to get him bailed out and a plane ticket home.... and the LOWEST of the low!! I had them tell me that a relative had DIED and left me something in their will and I needed to call them back!!! Meanwhile my relative was sitting accross the dinner table from me!!! But loke holy crap!! talk about having absolutly no morals or care to call with BS stories like that!!

Just got a call from them. Demanding I call them. I kept repeatedly yelling into the phone while the machine was play it's mesaage. The message got cut off as if someone was listening and then hung up.

These dum F keeps calling my number, before I block their other number and then they started to use this one. A***oles of this number get a life. We are not interested in your games or what you are trying to sell so get off where you are not wanted

The recording said something about I may or may not have property that does not belong to me and it needs to be returned.

I didn't bother to press 1 or call them back,but if they call me again I will press 1 and find out what kind of scammers these people are.

I'm at a point with all these stupid calls from people like this,to getting my phone number unlisted.

This company Global has been calling my number daily.  I called back, and advised that they have been calling me daily and don't know why.  they asked for the number in which they've been calling, which I gave.  They were lookng for someone other than me looking to collect their bad debt.  They were kind and said that they would remove my number from their system.

I've been receiving multiple calls from this number! I decided to give them a call today with a blocked number and they answered. The lady said "welcome to global." Not sure what company that is.

They left a message indicating I was in possession of stolen goods and must be returned!!!  I called them back and the man was trying to get me off the phone as soon as possible when I called him out on the stolen goods thing.  They're looking for a previous person who had my number.  This is a disgusting way they are using to bully people.  I will be reporting this call to the proper agency here in Ontario Canada.

They called at 7:30am, I have decided that if a collection agency has your number they must be selling it to other scam callers!  I have an issue with Rogers over what else ... a cell phone bill!  lol  I get messages saying "we have attempted to contact you and resolve this issue numerous times..."  I have actually talked with them about the problem and told them that I want it in WRITING from their company- I have never once gotten anything in writing from them.  Interesting that they refuse to put anything in writing and send it to you.  I also love how they say I have to confirm who I am before they can tell me why they are calling.  Who the heck tells a caller their full name address etc?  So round and round we go, I just don't answer anymore or I click on and off, even if I say hello it's a recording!  Anyhoo I also get tons of calls for vacations now requiring my credit card number immediately and tons of "survey" calls as well- interesting that these all started as soon as the collection calls got no where.  Since my number isn't even in the phone book there's not really any other way for them to have gotten it- I love it when they say "Is Mr. or Mrs. X available"  hmmm guess you don't know who you are calling- nope no Mr or Mrs here!  lol  Just as soon as I find a Mr.  I'll let ya know.

I have received a few calls from this # over the last few days.  I didn't pick up.  Interestingly, I've started getting calls from 2 other numbers at the same time, 866-585-1887 and 877-342-3271.  I don't know who any of them are.  My phone is ringing several times daily.
This happened once before, a few years ago (and I think it may be the same #).  I went to the police (who can trace the calls for free; phone co. will do it & bill you).  Those calls were from a collection agency.  Someone with the same last name as mine owed money.  Police said these companies simply call every # with that last name in the directory, harass everyone with that last name nonstop, until somehow they get person they want.
I got a great police officer, who called them, explained the calls were going to stop that day, or they would charge them with Criminal Harrassment under Criminal Code of Canada.
They explained to the police officer that I'd have to wait until they updated their automated voice messaging; the police officer explained that they had better change their automated voice messaging immediately (this minute; not 1 more call), or else face criminal charges and a life-long criminal record; all calls stopped instantly for me that time.
Have to be careful which police officer you get, some just want to get rid of you, tell you to lay a noncriminal charge (at your expense) under provincial law (minor slap on the wrist offense, no one harrassing you will take that seriously).  Insist you don't want that; in Canada, you have a right to have the police lay a charge of Criminal Harrassment.  It's serious; my calls stopped instantly.  That was 2 years ago.  These new ones just started in the last few days.  Have to run; I'm headed for the police station to insist they handle it.  Good Luck everyone.

I do not HAVE to do anything because you are or a computer are harrassing me via phone.  You do not even know who you are calling.  Just blind harrassment.  You are obviously with Global.  The problem is not collecting outstanding debts, the problem is you and how you treat people, especially when you are obviously WRONG.  Wrong numbers, wrong names, wrong everything. This is against the law.  So you're calling me and alot of other people for no reason but that you feel like it. You have nothing to substantiate the claim, and who cares if innocent people are harrassed. I don't owe anyone anything so I know this is all true. And IF the claim is valid, you are rude, aggressive, obtuse, incompetent, ignorant, disgusting and mean. You should be ashamed of yourself and what you do for a living.

I'm getting calls from these m0r0ns. I have already told them that they have the wrong phone. I was on some other colelction agency's list a while back as well but all of a sudden I'm back on this one. Asking for some shannon orother person. But myp hone is a corporate phone issued by an oil and gas company... The bill is not delinquent, obviously some other m0r0n  who doesn't pay their bills racked up a debt and us ed to have this phone number... And guess what? they didn't pay their phone bill either! So their phone number went back into the pool and now I have the lovely curse of having it. STOP CALLING. I even press 1 to talk to someone and only get silence!!!

How do I tell them to remove my number from there calling list?

called me and left a threatning voicemail saying if i didnt call them back and "deal with this matter" it would have serious ramifications they call often and always leave a different message.

They call us several times a day despite being told that the person who owes them money is no longer at this number. The most annoying thing is they often don't have the decency to respond when I answer the phone.
