They called asking for a $200 donation for Harper? wtf?

It was so annoying that this number kept calling for past few weeks.

They call us (Ontario) as well. They do not leave messages.
May be this is a political poll (re - elections?)

I've been getting endless calls from two numbers for weeks.  Six to eight times a day as late as 9:28 in the PM.
Both numbers originate with Conservative Party of Canada.
No calls from any other party.
Typical how the Conservatives want to cram their s**t down everyone's throat.

Got a call from this number, they asked for Mr.  Would not leave a message.

Got a call from the asking for Mr.....  Said he wasn't home and hung up.  They called back immediately but did not leave a message.

it was a call to my cell phone.

Call from this number at lunch time. (when else do they call?). No response on other end, therefore must conclude it is an annoying telemarketer...and we are on national do not call list.

Just a caller looking for support on the impending election.   I get them for the others as well, so there is really no issue here to be upset about and this will end after the election.

I got a call from this number multiples times. Tonight was very annoying as the call was at 9:08 P.M. - not cool.

Political parties do ask for donations as well though. They didn't ask money from me but they did go on a big rant about voting for Harper.

This number called me today... It's a scam.  They claim to be calling from the conservative party of canada and if you talk to them long enough, they will ask you for a $200 donation.  They are fraudsters...it is not the conservative party.

Mr. Harper, eh? What is with these worms? They should go back to their mansions, and shut the Hell up!

They cal us from this number today, April 12, 2011. Female voice asked for one of us (she knew the name even it was not listed). She said she was calling on behalf of Mr Harper.

This appears to be an autodialer which connects you to a human if you don't answer like a recorded message.

It's a phone call on behalf of "the Harper government", would would like to remind you that "we've been forced into an election" and would like to know how you would vote if you were to vote today. I politely told them that I don't discuss who I will vote for with anyone. They politely ended the call.
