Received call from this number, something about credit cards not articulate, I asked this caller to repeat, she hung up. Of course it was a scamm but what is the solution for these calls?

Calls trying to reduce my credit interest. The funny thing is my credit card is in collections and I know longer have credit. Due to job loss. They sure dont do there homework before theycall.

I got a call Easter Saturday, east Indian guy told me it was Microsoft calling me and that my computer was sending error messages.  If I were to allow him to take control of my computer he would fix the problems.  Scary part he knew my name and my phone is unlisted.  I told him that I did not believe him and that I had no time to play games with a scammer.

He called back from another  number 855-555-0164 same dude, I told him in no uncertain terms to F-off and to stop bothering me.

once i saw 905 area code, i didnt even bother to pick up. yup, it has the be scammers.

Reported these scammers to CRTC.

I got a call from 905 463 1810 saying that legislation was passed allowing me to get 0% on my high interest credit cards. I was asked to give them credit card interest rates and total owing on each card. I refused to do that and hung up.

These guys just called "again"?  It should be illegal for these "low lifes" to call bothering everyone especially the elderly.  They just keep calling bothering my elderly relatives.  At least they is smart enough to "smell a rat"!  

Every evening around supper time, like clock work...... the calls start coming?  It is to the point that we are starting to ignore all calls from number we don't recognize.  If it is important, "they will leave a message"!  It is tough to explain this to the elderly.  

I think it is time to "play the game" and "waste their time"!  It is time to get them "all excited" ........ lead them on with "some fake info"!  Maybe I'll have some fun!

Sad to say?   It looks like we cannot rely on regulators to stop these calls?

Agree with Fed Up.  The technology exists to block spoofed numbers and this should be installed on the telephone company's server to prevent these calls from getting through to their customers.  We pay a lot of money to these companies to use their services and they do nothing to protect their customers.  It's time to rally and demand better service from them.

Stupid calls disturbs my daughterz sleep.

The card service scammers   WILL   "service" our credit cards,   BUT,   when they finish "servicing" them, they will have no available credit remaining!

The people (creatures) calling from this number are the drug-addicted "card services" scammers, who call us, pretending to be associated with our credit card companies, in an attempt to fool us into giving them our credit card numbers, so they can rip us off. People that have given their card numbers to these junkies have suffered severe financial losses. Beware of these lowlifes, and warn others, before they are cheated!

i just phoned it back and i got "we are sorry the number has been disconnected or no longer in service."

Same thing; have had a couple of calls from this # around noon both times.  When checked out the call no one was there.

Called me at lunchtime, I screened, no message. When I called it, number unassigned..

They called today and when I picked it up (thinking it was a friend of mine in Ontario) there was nobody there. A***oles!

Call Display shows up as  "L 1-905-463-1810" This does not appear to be a valid phone #.   Seems like another scamming Robo-Call, but didn't answer. Telephone providers have the technology to reject these unwanted calls, but do not allow their customers to do so. These callers are not only harassing, but are doing so to gain financial information and identity theft - and more!  Our costs of having a telephone and internet, cable etc., keep going up and are in themselves a scam!  Considering that none of these providers are working to keep customers safe from such fraudulent behavior! Telephone providers need to make sure they allow their customers peace of mind and safety, by using current technology to allow free rejection of calls coming into the customer!

Call Display shows up as  "L 1-905-463-1810"  Not even a real phone number.  Probably a computer generated SCAMMER.  Why doesn't our telephone providers give us the ability to block these harassing callers, who are working on financial & identity theft and more!  This is 2014, with ever rising telephone bills - the technology IS available to allow rejection of these robo-calls!  Use it - without extra cost to your customers!
