get calls everyday but no one on the other side of the line

You got further than most of us ... the ignorant foreign person I talked to wouldn't even listen and kept talking over every word I said.  I just sat my phone face down on the table and waited until he was finished then yelled right back at him to remove my number!  Jerks!

Not to mention the nasaly sounding person leaving the message ... that alone is enough to drive a person to drink!!!

This is GCC (a collection agency, of course) ... someone by the name of Mr. Martin (who is VERY rude, I might add).  I called to DEMAND they remove my number from their data base and he continued to talk over me and didn't listen to a word I said, etc. saying they have a file there with my name (it's from Rogers - I'm sure a lot of you have these ones for "false signing of contracts") yada yada ... I told him that if they call my number one more time, I will be contacting a lawyer and having them charged with harassment.  I am at work and my cell phone rings constantly with this number and two others, which are the exact same company.  If you call any of them, you get the same guy.  866-535-0621 & 905-480-1364 & 866-993-1995
Annoying!  I am the one who pays MY phone bill and I will choose who I want to call me or not!  Grr!!  

this number calls me every single weekday, usually twice a day. I just keep ignoring them, although the only time that I answered, it was a very rude automated msg; no introduction; just that I need to contact them immediately on a "very important matter"... how about f*** off and NO

okay - got the phone call again for the 6th time - pressed the button they ask for - its a collection agency - they think that this guy lives at my place because our names are simular - and will not ease up - they are harrassing me for someone I don't know?  Global Collections they are called - they guy wouldn't tell me who they were - and was arguing with me - but cold called them back.

Please have the caller cease and desist from further calls

ya, its Global Credit & Collections, they do collection for Rogers and various others ie. Capital 1....they dont listen to you when you tell them it's the wrong #...you have to call back demand a supervior and complain like crazy to get them to remove your numer....i used to work there!

Received a phone call from this number. No voice message left.

Global Credit and Collections this is the company and they are a debt collector.

thanks for letting me know, when I used 411.ca, it came up as David Moreau, and I was confused. Thanks for letting me know. These people should start to reaslize that people DO go through hard times and if we could give them money they would get it. Thanks again :o)

this number keep calling me 20x a day!!

they have been calling me like 15 times a day and there's a recorded message that they are looking for mr. gordon.  they have another number 905-948-3203 in case you ignore their calls!
the bad thing is i need to add call display feature on my phone to know who's been calling me, an additional $6, just to know who's bugging me! stop please!

constant calls - minimum 5-6 times daily, for months - don't owe anyone anything. Can't connect with them even if I do answer; hit a key and its off to some dead airspace...what the ??B

This number calls and asks for a similar name and says it's urgent they can in touch with this person. They don't seem to quit. Leave voice msgs. Can't seem to get the msg kicked out of the auto dial.

I received several calls for somebody else from this number.  
When I called back, I found out that it was a collection agency called Global Credit & Collection.  
I found there website ( http://www.globalcollection.net/Consumers.aspx ) and contacted their main number.
They told me that they would remove my phone number from their files, and they did.

I started getting calls from all those numbers. Do they stop after a while if u don't pick up?

This number is a scam. Do not give them any money or information under any circumstances. It will not stop the calls even if you give them cash. Just hang up on them. Do not get involved in a conversation with them. They will lie to you and tell you that they are in a position of authority when they are nothing more than criminal scam artists. They have several phone numbers.

this no. keep calling until 9:PM and its very annoying i answer onetime ,and the operator said dont hang upor else,this people dont care

These people call from the three numbers mentioned above asking for Sharon Burke.  The last one claimed to be from Crawford Thompson a law firm???  I actually called back and a squeemish woman fearfully answered and I told her there was no such person here and there never has been.  The calls continue several times a day.  Must be some new scam.  Waste of their time and waste of ours.

They are harassing me and they should stop it before it gets out of hand.  Their employees are thiefs.

12 calls today alone. usually about 25-30 minutes apart
after pressing 1, there is another message "please hold we will connect you"
waited 10 minutes no response hung up.

will be going to the head offices next week to clear this up in person.

Repeated calls from this number border on harrassment. I understand from Telus that there may be a way to block them and will pursue that.
