Called asked for my boss by his full name which he doesn't use.  Said he was Allan calling from Global Royalties about an investment.  I put him on hold and offered to take a message - said he would call back.

905-501-3959 has just started contacting our family run business asking for my husband, "Can I get ___ Please".  Everyday it's the same conversation, "No, I'm sorry he's not in the office, can I take a message".  "No, I'll call back another time".  The last time I told him not to bother, he said he would email then.  An email never came through.  This morning's call marks the seventh call, same conversation.   We have call display, I think I'll let the calls go to voicemail.

He asked for the boss by the short version of his name (which he never uses). The man hung up when I said that he was in a meeting. We are in Saskatchewan.

Got a call from this number. Same thing. Asked for the boss. He wasn't in. Slurred something about calling back but he hung up before he finished. Tried calling number back but it didn't work.

This number is used by Global Royalties.  They have also called out using 905-890-3000

"Global Royalties" is what the guy called their "company".

Sounded like a very polished (read: 'greasy') salesman.

He said they were "a family-run business, and have been doing this for over 40 years" (yeah, right), and they were selling "hard assets".

This is the second time the same guy has called in a week, and I told him both times I don't invest outside my own business.

Just recieved a call asking for my boss.
I asked "Can I tell him who's calling please?"
No that's ok it's not urgent.
I said "No I said I just need to tell him who's speaking?"
No that's ok I'll call him later.

Ok bud, but I am gonna ask who's calling again later!

I received a call from this number, asking to speak to "Victor." Vic does not use that name and is not here on a day-to-day basis; he is an owner but not an operator. It wasn't a man who called though; it was a youthful-sounding woman. When I asked who was calling, she gave me her full name. Her first name was Susan; I don't remember the surname. She did not state her business. Despite knowing that "Victor" is not generally here, she called back very shortly after having hung up and asked again to speak with him.

I received calls from 1-905-332-6400 they hang up... last week 3 calls during the day, one Friday night at 7:50 August 23 - 2013

received a call from this number asking for boss by first name.  When I said he wasn't available, he mumbled something and hung up.  He did have an accent and seemed creepy.

Called for the owner told him that he wasn't in the office and could someone else possibly help him.  He slurred out something like I'll try again and hung up.

They called me twice.  First time they hung up and then called back a minute later and asked for my boss.
They would not leave a message.

I just received the same call, knew who to ask for I told him my boss was in a meeting and he said he'd try later and hung up quickly.

I just go the exact same call.  He even knew who to ask for by name. No clue what he wanted.  He must be persistent if he is still at it.

Have been getting calls from this number for the last few days.  First call no one is on the other end, second call he asks for my boss by his first name only.  The boss he is asking for is no longer with us and when I told him and asked if anyone else can help he mumbled " no thanks" and hung up.  He did sound very creepy just like everyone else claims.

I too recived  a call asking for my boss...I said he was not here and they hung up before I could even ask to take a msg....However I am in Nova Scotia...So not sure why they would be calling me??

this guy calls and he asks for my business partner who is also my husband, I ask him the who is calling he says he is from a company called Global, then I proceed to tell him we are not interested and he then informs me that it isn't really a business call per se but more on a personal note, as he already had a conversation with my husband
regarding family business, I ask him to hold on a second while I get my husband, and I really just ask my husband if he has any clue who this guy is and if he ever talked to him. He says he has no idea who this guy is, so I go back to the phone and tell the guy
my husband has never spoken to him. He then says its alright, I will just email him, then I tell him look we are not interested so forget it. Guy had a slight french accent.

Asked for me by name was put on hold hung up before I answered the line.

Called our office, asking for the boss. Asked him who was calling, and told me his name was Manny Boswell, he hung up after being put on hold.  Someone called from the same number earlier this week.

THESE CREEPS FROM ONTARIO FLOOD THE PHONE LINES EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY HOUR OF EVERY DAY....THEY SHOULD BE INCARCERATED....CON ARTISTS...
