This number is calling me non stop and I dont know what to do....do I change my number????

yes the same number calls me and then asks for me and then hangs up.  i have called this number and i get a message saying this number is not in service.  this has happened 3 times now.

This number is from Collect Com Credit in Scarborough a COLLECTION AGENCY
and they are sneeky and rude

Started off with a Mr. Dillon wardialing me every couple of days - that was months ago.  Dillon would refuse to give up and also try and paint himself in a limelight of superior power.  His tone was always firm, and his threats ... well apparently empty.

Dillon has seized calling and now Collect Com has resorted to automated wardialing.  If one is patient and can ride out the 2yr Statute of Limitation period (in my Canadian Province), you'll probably drive these people crazy.

This is Collect Com Credit...a collections agent.

caller asks who this is, I think it's a collection agency so I ask who is calling and where they are calling from, they won't say, so I hang up, I keep getting these calls.

this number called my apartment and asked for someone that i suspect lived here before me. I know she was a student and owed some decent student loans.  I said they had the wrong number and hung up...they immediately called back and asked i knew the person or if they were a neighbour of mine, and said they had returned mail for this person.
I used to work as a collection agent and i know that they can NOT call more than once a day and if you say "dont not call this number again", they legally are not supposed to..if they insult you threaten them with a lawsuit...its the easiest way to get them to leave you alone!!

Insults!!! Harrasement!!!! Won't tell us from where or for what they're calling.
Have insult my kids and myself. How to stop this?

Hey! this sounds exactly like us!!! she keeps insulting and calling MANY times in a row every day. I've already told her that's harrasement and she laught!!!
What can we do?

called my place @ 12:33pm, husband answered said hello 2x no response so hung up, this number has been calling several times during last few weeks and am getting tired of it.  at first thought it was student loans calling but now not sure.  been told when you receive calls like this or with automated calls to hit the # sign repeatedly to mess up the call system and supposedly removes your number from their system...havent tried it but friend told me it stops them from calling.

Received a call from this number asked for a family member. would not provide any information on why and from where person is calling. I refused to give any information. Person started insulting me. I hung up the phone and he called few more times. Told me he will be calling me every day until he gets information he wants...Harrasment maybe? what do i do?
