Number was listed on a letter from a scammer

This number is owned by a fake check scammer. Please avoid at all costs.

I tried to deposit one today.  You can't deposit a check with canadian routing and account numbers and drawn on a U.S.A. address.  When I call the number, the answering machine says it is Derek Mink.  The inbox is always full.  I don't get a response from email either

This person is a known scammer. Avoid at all costs. He is operating out of China via Nigeria, Benin & the UK. He belongs to a scamming organisation that deals in fake checks. If you have any dealings with this person, company (Direct Link) or phone number please report it to your local internet fraud agency (FBI - US, SOCA - UK or INTERPOL - EU)

Got letter in mail with check for $55,950.00 asking to deposit into my Bank.
