I also received a check for $3800.00 from R.J. Financial as part of a lotto winning of $38,000 and called 905-598-6218 to call a claim agent by the name of Don Farad or Sharon Perez. I only got a recording saying mailbox full. It is probably a scam. I deposited the check into a secondary checking to see if it clears. I am sure it will bounce.

We didn't receive a call, but rather a form letter w/ an authentic looking check enclosed. The check was supposedly from MBT Financial Services in the amount of $3,800. The letter stated that this check was to be used to pay the taxes on our total winnings of $38,000. It gave us the above number to call to "finish the process" of claiming our total prize. My husband started firing questions left & right at the woman who answered the phone. She swore it was all legit and that she would contact their corporate lawyer to have them send us a letter stating it was all legit. I'd bet my next paycheck that it is the same scam that the other person wrote about from MBT Financial Services, but w/ a different phone number after the 905 area code. I'd also bet a paycheck that we never receive that letter either!
