Altho' I pay ATT for an Unpublished Residence Line Number --- I have received enough calls together with the name I put the phone number under --- after ten
prior years of paying for Unlisted service --- to know that ATT is selling my information.    Wish I knew  how to sue them.   Meanwhile,  I, too, have received a telemarketing call from these people--at a time of day I consider to be wholly inappropriate.    The automated voice gave me an option to "mark do not call" ---
you think they will listen?

He called on a Sunday claiming to work for legal services and he had documents for me to sign if I was home so he can come now... I said he'll no and asked what agency he was with he names a far city when I know only two agencies would contact me in my area. I also said it's Sunday 8pm what craziness is this mail it or leave it at an agency where I can go... plus I would never sign nothing g on the spot. seeing all these posts now made me realize I could have boon harmed if he came to my door!

Yes, he has been calling from different numbers for the last couple months from 2 different numbers.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" List and tell him so, but they don't stop...the other number is 425-390-8144.  :(

This jerk has called several times. At the most recent incident, I asked him to stop calling as I STILL did not want a security system. He called back 4 times in rapid succession, saying "I called back! Ha ha ha ha!". He's still claiming to peddle GE Security Systems. I'm calling GE to report a fraudulent use of their trademark - maybe they'll be able to check into it.

I keep getting similar calls like those spoken about here - they go to my cell phone and I don't know the number so I don't answer.  No messages are left at this time but this number has also called my home.

I had a call from 905-352-3813 yesterday. I'm very very worried after reading these messages. Sounds like this guy uses that number as well. Any recent reports about this number?

Had the same guy now using the # 905-352-3813 Tried calling it and it came back as not in service. What is this all about?? is it just some loser with nothing better to do or are they somehow stealing our #'s to make illegal long distance calls. The # above is for some people living out near Peterborough....please let me know if you have any more info..

This a**hole called around 5pm last night, and left a message 'let me f*** you' and repeated it about 3 times, in a low whispery tone, before hanging up.  It's crazy that Bell/Rogers/police can't/won't do anything about this idiot - duh, why not cut off his number, for a start

This guy has phoned our house numerous times, we finally blocked his number through a rogers call block feature. Hes gone.

I DIDN'T KNOW ANYONE COULD ACTUALLY TALK THIS WAY TO ANOTHER HUMAN BEING.I HUNG UP AFTER YELLING AT THIS JERK, BUT HE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT.HONESTLY GUYS, HE CALLED BACK ABOUT 10 TIMES.THAT WAS THE FIRST PART OF OCTOBER.HE'S STILL CALLING....WE DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.... The same jerk called me 17:00-18:00 EST Sat Oct 27th. The caller kind of took me by surprise and somewhat startled me. After the GE balogne, he ended up promising to blow up my house -- niiiiice.

We just had this psycho call us 4 times in 10 mins @ 5pm Sat Oct 27th.  
He originally called and identified himself as working for GE - General Electric, I told him we were not interested in whatever he was selling.  He immediately called back 2 more times but I didn't answer.  On the 4th call a friend answered the phone and was shocked at the abusive language and the vicious tone from this jerk. He is on Rogers Wireless, we checked with Rogers but there is nothing they can do.  we were very concerned that he had our name address & phone #, but apparently he has everybodys.  I'm glad we googled is # and found this site.

I just had the same guy call my house on this morning, Saturday, October 27th.  The first call he said that he was calling for General Electric, and when I told him that he shouldn't be calling me at 8:30 am, he got angry.  Than the phone rang after 30 seconds and he said that he was calling from Royal Bank.  I responded by telling him that he was the same caller and that I would be notifying the police.  Thanks to everyone for all the info on how to deal with him.  I hope that someone can help put a stop to this guy.

This sick person called on Oct 11th tring to sell GE home security system. After numberous no's he called back abusing my self and my wife. I have cotacted the police and GE. The cop tracked it down to GE outgoing calles only from somewhere in Oakville.GE well outspoken person advised, he is working on it. Calles stopped. He called again today, two weeks later!
I will working on it, if anyone has some more info plese post it.
I wonder how many people did not reported it.

This guy was calling my wife while she was with my two young sons.  She asked him to take her name off his calling list.  He phoned back twice, and then left a abusive message on our answering machine.  

I was able to track the number, using a reverse phone lookup to somewhere in Oakville, Ontario.  I was also able to pull the message off our phone and post it to a web site here:

I'm going to contact the company and send them the phone message, and then proceed with further action from there.  Not that it is newsworthy, but maybe the press would like to hear it.

he called my house at about 6:pm on tues oct. 9th 2007.
my husband answered the phone and he said he was calling from general electric, and was giving free security systems. my husband said he was not interested and he kept insisting.at that my husband hung up the phone. he immediately called back. but this time he was very,very rude to my husband.he phoned back and told him that he was very ignorant for hanging up the phone on him. my husband hung up again. he called back again, and i answered the phone this time.he started into me saying some of the most dirtiest things i have ever heard.i couldn't believe what i was listening to.i couldn't believe that a so called human being could talk this way. guys without a word of a lie, this idiot called back about 10 times for sure. it was so annoying that i then took the phone off the hook.i then decided to call the cops. they really can't do much about it,until someone gets hurt. doesn't make sense.i wonder why bell can't do something about it for free. not fair.i agree as well if anyone does suceeds in getting this physco,please let us know on this site.he is a threat to society.

This pathetic idiot has called 7 times now over a number of days.  I didn't let him get to the part about what he was (supposedly) selling. As a result(and just like the others above) I have had obscene phone calls, always around 8 - 9pm.  I too have tried the number to call back but the message was "this cell phone number is currently not assigned" (perhaps he is scamming with SIM cards??).  I have called Bell and reported it, the CRTC (1-877-249-2782), telemarketing complaints (1-888-495-8501) and reported it to the fraud dept of the local police.  I have tried to get the number blocked on my service with Bell but it says the number is not available with this service". That's about it but I think the idea above about saying you are getting a trace on the number is a good one!  If anyone suceeds in getting this moron caught let us know on this site!

The guy who called had a thick indian accent and said he was with Royal bank.  Asked about my accounts (That didnt happen).  They tried to sell life insurance.

The number has come up on my caller-ID three times now, mostly in the mornings, but won't respond to my "Hello"... The j***-off is silent for a few seconds then hangs up. When I called the number back it just says "the cellular customer you are looking for is not available right now."

While on a long distance call, my phone line was repeatedly beeping.  Either two tones indicating it was a long distance or soliciting call waiting or a single tone indicating local.  In frustration, I answered ... the caller's voice sounded slightly electronically enhanced and seemed to have difficulty pronouncing our name.  I told him I'm not accepting his call, disconnected him and returned to my call.  My line beeped constantly until I took the call at which vulgar obscenties were hurled at me ... the calls continued lated into the evening.  The sad thing is, this person is likely reading our postings and getting a great chuckle ... what a SICKO!  Even sadder is this 'man' seems to have a 'female' partner.

This guy just called, and I Googled to see who the heck it was. I answered, and he said: "I must be speaking with Mrs. (so-and so), so I said:"Yes, but if you're calling to sell me something, please remove me from your call list." He started calling me all kinds of horrible, abusive names and so I hung up. IN Shock. Then, he called back and Hubby answered, and he was silent. We hung up the second time, and immediately, he called back and I put it on speaker so Hubby could hear, and he yelled obscenities at me AGAIN.

I called the police, but since he didn't threaten me directly, they can't do anything. The number is "unassigned", so we can't call back to it. And so the police lady gave me a tip: Next time he calls, be very silent, hit 2 buttons very quickly and say:"Operator, go ahead with your trace.". Apparently, this scares off creeps like this, so I'm thinking I'll do it if he calls again.

It's sad to know this guy is out there, getting away with this. I'm a little nervous that he knows where we live....Anyone else concerned about that?

The guy phoned, knew my last name and said he was selling home security system. I told him I already had one and he continued talking so I said "thank you, NO" and hung up. He called me back immediately and I hung up on him again. He phoned me again but wouldn't talk. I finally was able to take my phone off the hook and left it that way for approx 20 mins. When I checked the phone a bit later he had left the nastiest, most obscene message I could ever imagine. He called me every bad word in the book. He called me names and threatened me. The message is at least a few minutes long. I'll report it to GE as well as the cops. This guy is a psycho!!!

recieved a call from the same number i didnt answer it but no message was left, should he leave a message i will tell him where to go !

this guy asked for someone i said didn't live here, & tried to sell me a security system through ge, when i said that i rent & we can't add things to our house, "we're not allowed to install a home security system" he said he wasn't trying to sell me one, i knew he was full of s*** & hung up. he keeps calling & can't seem to take no for an answer.

Oh yah, each time he had to tell me that he was saying a last name. Which i knew & said I knew. He just seemed dumb.

The caller asked for Mr or Mrs ... and I said, speaking.  The woman stated her name was Arra or Anna, (fuzzy connection) and was a representative of GE, General Electric home security.  She went on to say that there were representatives in MY area who were giving FREE, no obligation quotes on security systems.  She then asked whether I was living in a apartment or house...I said I was not interested and hung up.

Now, I realized after hanging up, that I should have said..."If you have representatives in my area you would know whether I lived in an apartment or house"...since MOST of the entire city in which I live is all the same...and the area that's different, is so far away, I wouldn't consider that IN MY AREA.

Good thing I can block them...idiots!!  all of them!!

This number called at 8:42am on a Saturday morning when we were trying to sleep in!  Telemarketers are annoying but they're criminal when they rob you of sleep!!

Caller introduced himself as "Kabir" . He was tryimg to sale me "wireless home security system". He became abusive when I refused to buy his product.
Now he leaves dirty voice messages, whenever he gets chance.

a male voice asked if Mr or Ms + my last name is there. I answered yes and he hanged up. I have read the same comments from someone in a forum (website).
