I have been receiving these calls2-5 times a day for the last 10 days, I have answered several times and asked, politely, to be removed from their call list.  As soon as I ask, they hang up.  Next time I think I'm going to tell them their call has been recorded for quality assurance purposes

I think this caller is taking information from Resume for jobs, and pretend like calling from visa and master card. I have a short name on my resume, so he ask for that short name, instead of my full name. I just have shortened my first only on my resume. I never use that name any where else. So definetly, he is taking personel infor from Resumes.

Just got off the phone with this guy. I upset him enough that he hung up on me.

I'd seen the number a few times, but they never caught me at home until today. The guy claimed to be with "Financial Freedom Now" or something, offering to reduce my credit card interest for Visa or MasterCard. I'm in Canada and he said they were located in Miami and had a branch in Ontario. When I asked where in Ontario, he would only say "Ontario". Hahahaha.

He wanted to confirm my credit cards and other info, so I told him to tell me my info and I'd confirm it for him. The address he had for me was about 10 years old.

Eventually, he didn't like my line of questioning and laughing at him, so he hung up on me.

Scam.

These calls need to be stopped.  The following is the way one conversation from this number went:

After answering phone - long pause and then finally a man asked if this was My name

Me:  Yes that's me
Man:  I'm calling on behalf of Visa/Mastercard.  Are you currently paying high interest on your credit cards?
Me:  I do not provide that information over the phone
Man:  Go to hell (and then hung up)

numerous calls from this number saying it's Financial Freedom Now, asked them to remove me from their calling list, laughed and said he can't do that. told him it's the law, and he again laughed and said "too late, I'm not telling you any information" and hung up.
Really irritating little person. Would like to know where I can contact this company so I can get them to stop calling.
Tried calling the phone # on my caller ID and it said it could not be reached by this method.

I called phonebusters to report the number. They are saying these guys are currently phoning all of Canada and they are looking into this. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO and hang up!! The only way you can lower your interest rate is by calling your financial institution yourself!!

These guys just called me - and Im in Canada.  I answered HELLO and I hear in the distant background someone saying Hello to me but then there were lots of other voices in the background and also a hip hop song called "LOW" that I am familiar with.  I stayed on the phone for a few minutes just listening in but I couldnt make out what the people were saying. All the while some guy in the far distant background keeps saying "HELLO?"  VERY WEIRD. Finally the call ended. Called back - says it cant connect. SO I googled this phone number and to my surprise Im not the only one they crank called. I called the operator in my area and she said and I quote "This is very weird.  I can't locate this number to be part of any place in Ontario"   but 1-905 is a common ontario number.  SCARY.

905-613-8455 has called me non stop for months and months.  Usually two or three times a day.  Whoever it is needs to STOP.  There must be something legally that can be done, other then just to tell them to stop or not answer the phone.

I got a phone call just 15 minutes ago from that same phone number but it was from Ontairo. It was really weird because I thought they were wondering if someone was asking about our church but I was wrong, he started to ask my sister questions and then she gave me the phone and he asked me for my age, grade and if I had any boyfriends... then at the end he was saying either "Don't get any boyfriends" or "We'll fine boyfriend for you" Has anyone else gotten anything like this before!? I'm really creaped out!!!!

I just received a call from this guy claiming to be with FCCBC - Federal Credit Card Bureau of Canada. I could barely make him out with his heavy accent. He was offering 3.9% interest for a lifetime on all Visas and Mastercards to selected customers, and we qualified. The phone was cutting out and he blamed it on Rogers. I wouldn't give him any info, so I asked for his name and phone number to call him back after I verified whether or not this was a scam. He said his name was Kenneth Anderson (with an accent like that??) and his agent ID # was 0021. The toll free # he gave me was 1-888-266-0271, but the number that came up was 905-613-8455. Call display said "Unknown name". I looked up FCCBC on the internet and there was nothing. As well there was no listing for either phone number that he gave.

I have been getting these calls for the last several months.  I have never answered (until today) and the message left was just the remaining 20 seconds or so of their recorded message telling you there is an offer on your account and to press 1 if you are interested, and also that this is the last offer of the season.  (Whatever, they call myltiple times a month... short season, eh?)  I had no idea what it was for.  When I answered today I pressed 1 and waited for a woman to come on.  She didn't identify herself until I asked, giving me a badge number and saying she represented Visa/Mastercard and she could give me a lower rate.  She only had my first initial and wanted my card number and approximate balance and then "verified it"(yes, that means I was stupid enough to give it to her... she was good at convincing me when I was hesitant).  Anyway, she said my balance was too close to my credit limit so I didn't qualify (yeah, qualify for her to use my card?).  I immediately called my credit card company and had my card cancelled and they warned me never to give out card info on the phone (I KNOW... but I was stupid enough to do it anyway *sigh*).  Take a lesson from me and HANG UP on them!!!

I recently submitted all info that I had concerning this company to CIBC VISA who are now conducting an investigation into this group of fraudsters. I have been victimized by these people to the tune of $750.00. The results of the investigation will determine whether or not I have to pay these people who fraudulently misrepresented themselves as VISA reps. PLEASE contact the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC) online and follow instructions to file a complaint against this group under; telemarketing fraud. The more complaints the better so other people do not have to go through what I am going through. Will keep you posted!!! I received a phone call from "Financial Freedom" (part of VISA/MasterCard) yesterday.  The caller identified himself as "Brian." When I started asking questions he hung up.  This is no way to scam a person.  Never hang up.  Also, try to make yourself believable.  Brian, it's time for you to go into some other type of employment.  You're horrible as a scam artist!
