So should the Bank.... But hay wait nooooo they don't have to pay their bills cause we just bail them out! i say if you owed money post 2008 it should be just written off period and everything reset to zero. if they can do it why cant regular people i mean it is our money isint it? Collectors are funny people!

This number calls me on a daily basis. The guy tells me that he needs to speak to me before Aug 1 and or else he will have to make an important decision without me. Aug 1 comes and goes and he is STILL calling me. I have never answered the phone to him, but his last msg says that he's from allied international calling on behalf of the "federal government". It just makes me wonder how legit this really is, especially after reading all this!

******HOW TO DEAL WITH THESE CALLS FOR GOOD!!!******
This is a collection agency that calls from this number. The best and easiest way to stop these calls is to take 10 or 15 minutes and speak to whoever is on the other line. If they have the wrong number, patiently explain that to them. If it is you and you do owe money to whoever they are collecting for, here's what you do. If you can't pay off all of whatever the debt is, ask about a settlement like 75% (That's what I was able to get) Or, tell them you need a couple months to get the money together and ask about setting up a payment plan. I paid a couple hundred dollars for 3 months and then got the settlement. IF YOU SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN OR ARRANGE A SETTLEMENT THEY WILL STOP CALLING!!

I Answered the phone and dealt with a gentleman who was extremely kind and helpful.  We figured out all of our problems and now enjoy talking on a regular basis. This phone call changed my life in not only an emotional way but also a metaphysical way.  I will always continue to answer the phone when I see odd numbers such as this.  I am in love.

Maybe you guys should just pay your bills :)

I RECIEVED A CALL TODAY FROM THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS AT AROUND 1 O'CLOCK. THEY WERE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO USED TO LIVE THERE, THE GENTLEMAN THAT I SPOKE TO WAS EXTREMELY POLITE AND VERY WELL SPOKEN. THEY WERE NOT HESITANT TO NOTIFY WHERE THEY WERE CALLING FROM AND ACTUALLY APOLOGIZED FOR THE PHONE CALL! IF I HAD THIS COMPANY CALLING ME I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AS OPPOSED TO ANY OF THE OTHER AGENCIES I HAVE COME ACROSS.

On 8/13@ 8:46am and 8/15 @ 10:11am at my place of employment I took a call from the same collector who was looking for an x-employee.  Both times I have asked for the work number to be removed.  As per USA law, once a collection agency is requested to remove a number, they must comply.  Regardless of the collection agencies location any calls made to a USA customers must follow USA laws.  The call times are from 8am to 10pm and are 1 per day.  If they are asked to stop calling and contact via USPS only, they must comply.
Below I have added some contact information to allied International Credit.  I would suggest anyone who receives an unwanted call to contact them and report it.  
Today I called and talk to Scott Jones and informed him of the calls and requested him to correct the situation.  If not, I'll call his company each time a new unwanted call is received via phone, email, and USPS documenting the unwarranted harassment.

I keep getting phone calls for someone else.  They say that they are with Bank of America.  Now they ask me, though i have never had an account with Bank of America.  When I asked for an address to have my attorney send them a letter to leave me alone, they would not give it out.  Said it was irrelevant.  No one at this number can be trusted.  They have 905-216-4273 as another number they call from.

I had a call today from a collector who was very friendly i have owed the bill for a very long time, she was very helpful & i am paying my account in full tommorrw. Thank you

What's funny Jenna is that he clams to be calling on behalf of the "federal government" The only bill that may fall under "federal government" is my O.S.A.P loan which might I add I am still revieving bills for and have made payments towards it. Normally when your bill is sent to collections you STOP getting bills.

if they are calling on "behalf" of the federal government.. that means the federal government is "still involved." hence the reason why you would STILL receieve the notices.
the federal government doesnt completely discharge your debt like a regular bank would. they are still activly involved with monitoring the progress of your account.. they simply dont wish to speak with you because you have defaulted on your debt!!which is the reason they hire third party collections

I was receiving continuous phone calls phone this number asking for a Bobby Remier (who was obviously the last person to have my phone number) shortly after I moved to Fredericton and got a new phone number. An automated recording would tell me to call the number back during the hours provided (which weren't always consistent with the hours when they were calling). The last straw was this morning at 9am (a Saturday, I'm a law student and it's the only day I get to sleep in). I phoned the number back to be removed from their list and the representative was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I told him about the mistake and said that the person they were trying to contact must have been the last person to have this phone number and gave him the number and the name. Then he asked for my name and I told him that was irrelevant and to please just remove my number from their list. He said in an extremely rude and sarcastic tone, that he didn't have to do that and if I didn't give him my name, he wouldn't take the number off the list. I said he was being extremely rude and asked to speak to a manager, then he told "there are no managers around so you get to deal with me". I asked him to provide me with more information about his company and he refused and said there was nothing I could do about it. Then he hung up in my ear. I am disgusted that people like him can be hired for jobs where they deal with people and that this company is willing to have someone like that representing them.

I got about 4 calls from this number 904-710-7066 over a period of 2 months. They said they were from some collection company were asking for a roomate of mine whose name they knew and who they thought I might know where they are The guy had a accent.

I got about 20-30 calls from this number over a period of 6 months. They said they were from the Canadian government and were asking for a friend of mine whose name they knew and who they thought might have my number. The lady had a Spanish sounding name and accent.

I received a call from 905-710-1200 at 10:34 am Pacific Time today.  I was not home at the time and no voicemail message was left. Their number was on my display so I searched their number on the internet trying to locate it.  
I move a few months ago and had to get a new phone number, and now I am receiving all kinds of calls from different numbers (telemarketing).   What a drag!

Called my cell phone, looking for my mother. She lives three hours from me, and has never used my cell phone number.
They wouldn't tell me who they were, what they needed or how they got the number...

Very rude, did not tell me who they were.  It is a call center for royal bank of canada

Called my house around 1pm, spoke to my husband they were looking for the man that used to live in the other apartment, told them this is not his number and never has been, never identified themselves.  I got home at 5:30, checked my messages it identified a call from 905-710-1200 but they hung up and never left a message, this call was after they were told the first time that this was never his place of residence.  If they call and I answer the phone they will get an earfull for sure.

Called my Cell phone 3 times in as many days.  Never leaves voicemail message.  They call at odd times.  Once late at night, mid morning, and very early morning.

called my phone and would no let me know what it was about. I did some further research and they are a scam company saying that you or someone you are related to or just know owes money and they want to collect it. Don't give them anything or a name just say they have the wrong number and hang up.

They called at 2:00 this afternoon and left a message saying that they "were sure that I knew what they were calling about", and identified his company as Allied International.  For sure it's a collection agency, since I owe money on 3 credit cards.

A girl from this number called regarding a balance in my business bank account. Having never dealt with the finances of our company, I checked with a colleague and sure enough, there was a balance in the account of approximately the same amount as I was told by the caller.

I'm not sure of the legitimacy of this situation however, as when we phoned our bank to pay the balance, they assured me that nobody was dispatched to call us regarding our finances, and certainly not from  1-905-710-1200

Keep calling me asking me for a person that i don't know

This # 905-710-1200 just called twice in 10 mins, I didnt answer as I normally dont  when a caller doesn't identify who they are. After reading these comments I'm glad I didnt.  Why does this telemarketing company feel so inclined too call before 9:00 am......?  Aren't there time restrictions?
