I filed a complaint with the DNC registry too. These people are horrid. Daughter had the phone call from this 755-5585 one and we got it on another #.  Unscrupulous people they are. Don't call them back if you owe nothing. Check with your bank and utilities people first.  These people get your file and then try to get money for nothing to make themselves look good to the banks.

We got a call from them but on the 905-755-5616 phone #  Saying we were in collections with our bank. We called our bank, and we are not in collections. We got the recorded message to wait for the rep. Never came on, we hung up. Called our bank first to be told, nope, sorry and that they called us.  Telus was next and they said they can't block it as it's on a special trunk line or a text to landline thing.  Telus told us not to answer it.

Our daughter got this 2 months ago on her cell phone, same bank as us.  D & A said she had to deal with them and them only. Seems the system at the bank automatically turns over a file on the computer system at whim she was told.
She was 2.00 over limit on her Visa. WTF!!  She wasn't in collections either, and the bank apologized to her as they did to us for it. The woman rep daughter had swore at her, was condescending and rude, had adult daughter in tears. Said she could see her Visa balance on the screen and read it off to her. They had some way of getting in to the account.

I have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry, but that won't do any good...their a joke.

Seems this company uses many #'s to call.  

I got a call today from D & A Corporation.  They got my name right but they didn't leave a reference number or extension.  They said I was to call (905) 755-5585... I don't have any outstanding debts so I'm not sure if I should call them back.  I don't want to be charged a ridiculous amount of money on my phone bill but I want to know why they're calling me...

I have been getting calls from D&A for over 8 months now...trying to reach someone who has not lived at this address/phone # for over 2 years. I have called and told them 3 times that I have no contact info and still they call using different numbers and calling at crazy times of the day. I lost ,y patience when they called last week one morning at 7:03. I have threatened to charge them with harassment as no one who owes money lives here. Hasn't helped ... Three calls today but 1 message was left. I will write them an official letter and then I will file charges if that doesn't help.

So is this a legitimate company or a scam? They are rated A- on BBB.org. I get calls all the time!

Very anoying debt collector. They call multiple times a day. If you do not answer your phone they will call any relatives they can find.

Omggg. F this company!!!! They called me today while my gf was straddling me. When I reviewed the message, it sounded like they said DNA corp. my gf literally got turned off and got off me because she thought I had a unknown kid somewhere in Canada. This is why my name is Notgettingany. Damn D&A!!!!

Totally at a lost what the phone message mean. Feel bothered. Is there some way to stop this unwelcome call?

Just tell them that you want to see the original paperwork that shows you owe the debt. They likely can't. Then they get to f*** off.

I received a call from D & A Collections on May 6, 2013 for a Ms. Dunad Ramprashad.  I have no idea why they are calling me as I am not Dunad Ramprashad, and have had my phone number for over one year.

please  tell  these   people   that   if  my   health  gets   worse   they    are   going   to   pay   for   my   medicabills  answer  force causing  me   a lot   of  stress to thetune of  20.00000 million  so  i suggest   they   stop  calling  me  i have  no  money   and  time   is past   i don't   own   them   a cent   thank u   for   u are attention

As far as I am aware, this number has been calling for the past two says at least. The first time it was a real person. She gave her name, a number and extention when I told her the person she was looking for was not available at that point in time. Today I get the annoying pre-recorded voice thing calling back. It said my moms (who she was looking for yesterday) name and spelt out the first name and said the last name. It is getting really REALLY annoying. Are they a collection agentsy or a scam (like the microsoft one)?

The number 19057555585 is from DNA Corporation, a COLLECTION AGENCY!!!
There has been a bad debt that you have not paid that they are trying to collect on.
Bell Mobility typically uses this agency to collect on accounts who will not pay the cancellation fee for phone service!!!!

D & A Collection Agencies in Ontario. I have had this bunch phone before, always asking for someone I don't know. The one today was at least almost polite, usually they are obnoxious.

Well ....they have been calling me now for over a year but I never take their calls so it goes to the answering machine where they leave a message say.......

You need to call us immediately pertaining to your account which requires your urgent attention ....

I have never tried to call them so how can find out what this is all about.....????

I get this number and a message on my machine more then 5 times a day and it never ends!  I have no idea who they are trying to get a hold of and no matter how many times I call back and tell them they keep calling!

I had the same problem, they were calling for someone that I had not heard of. I have a new number, which I explained to them twice. I reverse looked them up and sent an e-mail to their general inquiries e-mail. I told them how annoyed I was that the problem was not fixed. I then told them that if they didn't stop coming I would assume they were a fraudulent company and I would report them to the RCMP. The calls have stopped!

Continually call asking for some guy I have never heard of.  When  you call back they want your full name and address and I said I am not giving it to them, so the calls continue (even more now).  Driving me crazy!!!  Any suggestions how to get them to stop GREATLY appreciated!!!!!!

Somone from this company called my friend looking for me and the is no reason as to why this company would even call anybody regarding myself and there is no resaon as to why anybody would call a number I did not leave as a contact. if t his company needs to call me then contact me at sea_babby2009@yahoo.ca

I was getting these calls quite some time ago for someone I'd never heard of and don't recall the name.  They finally stopped.  I don't remember what I did - reported them, got on the do not call registry, talked to them, changed my phone number?  I don't remember, but the calls have started again.  The name they are asking for is close but not exact of that of a roommate.  This person has been away for a while, and with permission, I've tried to respond to find out what it's about, but I get disconnected when I press the appropriate number.

This is a collections agency, not a spam caller, I called the number back, it is D & A Collections, so if you are getting called make sure you do not have a bill in collections that does not actually belong to you.  I learned I had been in collections for a couple years for a bill with a company I have never heard of.

Same here! They called a few times and I called them back.
Incredibly rude and aggressive person on the phone and I could hear the phones ringing in the background and the sales agents talking to a lot of people.
Report them folks, I just did!
