Number still calls businesses asking for owner etc....give it up already

Just received a call from Jennifer at CPS asking to speak with the business owner and asked if I was the decision maker, told her no the boss was in a meeting but I can transfer to him if he is available, transferred her over and she hung up.

They call me 3-6 times per day. I've taken to picking up and telling them to go fly a kite [not in so many words]... I can't believe losers like this expect me to entertain anything they have to sell when they harass people and have blatent disrespect for the way REAL business is done.

Even after speaking to them to have us removed the calls still do continue after mr. Marvin assured me it wud stop. It has not. This is harassment plain and simple and they deserve to be dealt with as harassers of the public. It is not fair.

I just called the number that "Blossom" above gave,1-866-827-5370 ext. 7521  and spoke to a gentleman, I told him the phone calls are very frequent and annoying and that this was a residence (small white lie) and to remove me from the list. If you tell them you are a residence they will remove you. Hope it works.

I keep getting the same calls from this number, 7 times in the last week.  There is never anyone at the other side of the phone.

Called the number from above and spoke to Marvin, he promised to take us off the list.  We will see if that happens.  Did a Google search on the "Canadian payment services" name, found a website, the mailing address is in New York state.  Not sure how they are using a 905 area code to make these calls.  Guess is it is some automated computer that dials the numbers and then patches in someone form a call centre.  But since they are based in the US, I believe this is the loop-hole in the "do not call" list.  The Canadian gvt can only enforce (if they chose to) it on Canadian companies.

This number is only for outgoing calls. I have been getting calls daily up to 10 sometimes everyday of the week for months on end. I have repeatedly told them to stop calling and remove from list yet they don't . This number belongs to a company called ... Canadian payment services. I was able to get the manager on phone his number is 1-866-827-5370 ext. 7521 . The name he gave was Marvin Gibson. When I finally addressed him with the reality of harassment he quickly hung up. So if u have issues....flood his line or give it to authorities. This company is a Mickey Mouse company making money by harassing business owners who are trying to run a business.

losers have called here 3 times today- way to go Canadian gov't- that do not call list really works!! my tax dollars at work...

What I don't understand is how these outfits continue to get away with this nonsense. They should be thoroughly investigated and made an example of.

Person called the business and named one of our employees.

He claimed he worked at "CBS", but spoke really fast and didn't have much interest in explaining who he was.

No name on caller ID. Just the phone number 905-897-9973


Asked if we "used a credit card".

Received 13 automated calls from this number...  No response when I picked up the call.  Very frustrating!!

These calls come non-stop to my home for a business that is "out of business" for at least 7 years (I have had my number this long). How many times do you need to be told this is a residence and not a business. Stop calling already!!
