You people disgust me.  I work at Landmark Home Solutions and I like my job.  My co-workers are fabulous and Jason (the man some of you like to insult) Is a craing nad good man.  If you get laid off, it is becaue you screw around or cannot do your job.  The company gives to its employees what the employees give to the company.

If you have a problem with telemarketers who are ACTUALLY IN CANADA AND SPEAK CLEAR ENGLISH, then don't answer your phone.  Buy you know what?  Telemarketers are not going anywhere....  Oh...and if you want a telemarketer to stop calling you, be polite and ask to be taken off the list.  Hanging up is NOT okay.  Swearing is NOT okay.  Threats and INsults is NOT okay.  Get it?

Went for an interview at this place. Jason did my interview; the guy talks like he was trying to sell me my own interview. It seems legitimate, but underfunded and undertrained. The people placing calls are in a single room along with the receptionist, and Jason has a little office. Did NOT take the job. That's right people, we can CHOOSE to not harass eachother for a measly wage.

I also work at Landmark.  How did you like the great news we got last Friday.  They promise us we'll work until the 23rd, the cut us off at the knees.  No notice, no warning.  Nice.  First they cancel the Christmas party with some lame excuse, then this.  People made plans according to this.  I guess it's all about the bottom line.  It's the new guy they hired to increase profits, I forget his name, the tall dude with the gray hair.  Since he came in, we can't read anymore, as if this job isn't boring enough.  Now we can't even fill in the minutes waiting for the next call.  What an a**hole.  $60.00 in gas cards instead of a party at the Pillar & Post.  I feel bad for Jay, he's the one who has to deliver the news.  And Kudos to Sherry and Kim...they haven't forgotten what it's like to be on the phones all day.  Really nice ladies.  Anyway, enjoy your 3 weeks off, and Merry Christmas.

Anon, I don't recall having worked with anyone who was ever let go. Perhaps we were in different departments? Either way, Anon has the same view I do. We're people, just like you. Don't treat us like the homeless you scoff at. We need to live, just like you.

This call center is a steaming pile of dung. I worked there, and the do***ebags fired me for no reason. However, the reps are usually ok, so be nice to them! They need work too!

Robin, that was harsh, my dear. Very harsh. We may have a job no one likes, but we too, just as you, being a doctor, lawyer, or even a janitor (i dont know what your job is), need to work. Most of us don't sit there and say "hey, lets ruin someone's day by calling them at dinner!" We don't know when people are having dinner. We come in to do a job and get payed for it.

James, unfortunately that kind of thing happens when representatives don't realize a call is coming in whilst they hold conversations with the person next to them. That is unacceptable.

AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! I totally work for this company. We're a legitimate company. If you ever get a call and no one is there, it's more than likely a dialler issue. Sometimes the autodialers call more people than we have employees on at that time, so alot of calls get abandoned

I just rec'd a call from this number, they introduced themselves as "Pam" from Landmark then all of a sudden, dead air. I ran a *69 and got their number.

I wonder if they're a scam recording our voice and using it to register for something, as most call centres record your voice. Too far out?

repeated calls from this SOB even after i requested my unlisted # be removed.

I hate callers that have unknown name and a number REAL people and friends do not block information SO I have opted not to answer any blocked names or numbers

Called me today around 4:21 PM. When I picked up I, after 3 rings, got the dial tone. On the Internet this number seems to point to a call centre in St Cathrines, Ontario. Another nest of a_s_s_holes.

I get calls from this number all the time, and when I answer they never say anything, and when I don;t they never leave a message. can this type of thing be reported since there are obviously so many other people with this problem?

it is saturday april 12th 2008 we just got a call from this number, bad enough to get these calls, but when you are waiting for an important call, and you run to get the phone only to get dead air!!! at least they should be quick enough that when someone answers their phone they speak instantly,...but no, we stand there saying hello..hello...then realise oh it's one of those calls...and hang up. it is so annoying, we do not have caller id. so we have to pick up every call...also we have a young daughter living on the east coast so the long distance ring could always be her so...to get dead air instead is a huge pain.

834 PM ET Called and asked if this is the Monroe residence. I said no and they hung up.

12:34pm call, dead air. Have asked Landmark many times not to bother me. Maybe next time I'll ask for a salesdroid to come by...not to buy anything, or get a quote, just to waste their time.
