I suggest to anyone that is having problems with debt collectors that you go online and read about the Fair Credit Protection Act.  In this you will find help in dealing with collectors, particularly if they are rude or threatening.  There are laws that protect you, not from having to pay, but from being harrassed.  Further, check with the State of Michigan on the statute of limitations on a debt it  keeps debt collectors from winning a lawsuit and you actually can make them stop collecting the debt if you tell them you do not owe the debt and do not intend to pay it.

Check it all out before you deal with these idiots.

Grand View Hospital in Ironwood, MI. sent them after me for the $ I owe them.  Even though Grand View fudged up and didn't bill my insurance correctly and I actually don't owe them anything.  Paper works in process. I tried to tell Credit Check this, but they still call 3 times a day.  And Grand View keeps saying they will call Credit Check to clear it up, but guess what they never do.  I finally assigned them to a Silent Ring on my phone, at least I don't have to hear it ring anymore, just have to delete the voice mails.

This number has shown up on my caller ID more than once.  Not sure who they are trying to reach but hopefully they'll get tired and forget my number.

Yes Credit Check are real horses a***s and maybe someone needs to pay them a visit after hours and tune em up for how they treat you on the phone...What jerks!!!! Like duh I cannot pay the damn bill!!!! It is Marquette Hospital who sicks these people on those who owe and like I told them when I went in I cannot pay the bill. But Credit Check is very rude.

Calls at least 3x's a day. When I answer it is a recording saying they are a debt collector and to please call back.  I've called them back and have asked them to send me the info.  Never receive - continue to call EVERY DAY.  Very rude and aggressive - they demand large payments (usually the full amount, suggest you take out a loan or borrow from family or friends)  I realize I have past due medical bills but if I couldn't pay them in full to the hospital, how am I suppose to pay them in full or large amounts now?!?!?!  They don't want to hear that you'll send them a small amount monthly and even when you do send $$ they keep calling every day, many times a day.

i got a call and when i looked at my caller id it said that it was a michigan call and it gave the phone number of 906-226-6509 and i answered it and the lady asked for me by name and i told her that it was me ans she started to tell me that i had 80,000.00 in collections and i asked her three time before she final told me how she was working for and it was credite check of marquette michigan and i told her that i do not do any typ of business over the phone to send me any thing that they where trying do tell me about or trying to collect. and she said that they had been and i have never gotten any thing from them and there is a lot of michigan calls that show up on my caller id and you pick up and it is a computer voice that gives the message . i am tired of all of this collection companys that hide be hid the unnown number and unown name and or the michigan call or blocked calls .
