Keep getting calls from this number no answer

I got a call from this number 908-226-0448 on 1/15/09 @1:11pm, did not recognize
the number, did not answered and they left no message, I figure it maybe a scam to lock on to your cell number or something. I did a reverse look-up, it is a land line, but did not want to pay to get further info.

Answered call and it was a recorded voice that started with, "Hello! Are you tired of your high satellite bills?"

Hung up. Don't know how they got my cell number. Obviously a tv cable or satellite dish telemarketing seller.

this phone number called me, on my cell and wanted to give me free installation of Dish Network, I'll be calling dish network and complain about this.  I tried to get the company name and they wouldn't tell me who they worked for.

I got this call on my caller id.  The name it gave with the number was Sarah Chapman.  I don't know a Sarah Chapman.  I never answer calls unless I know the caller.  Thank goodness for caller id.  Now, I find this is a scam.  I'm glad I have rules on answering the phone.

Dial that number for the National Do-not-call registry. Hopefully it will work- this has been the second time "Mark from Satellite Installations" has bothered me.

i was called at 11:43 am on 1/19/09. there was no message or anything

this number called me jan 19th 2009 and I did not pick up because I did not recognize the number, they did not leave a message

called at 1:17 but i was in class so i didn't answer, i called back and the number is disconnected

i got the call from 908 2260448 and wanted to ignore it but instead i answered and began talking about my c**k they havent called back

Was a call from dish network. I had won a free install

I get random numbers calling me all the time.  This one I answered, some satellite co.  Pressed one to "hear more about there offer" Got a person, and asked him to be placed on the no call list.

Call came through on my work cell phone, missed the call because I was at work and in the middle of something.  Tried calling the number back...it's disconnected.

Just got a call on a prepaid cell phone from this asking if I wanted to have my chevy upgraded or fixed at no extra charge. I dont own a chevy :P
middle of the night for me, and did not appreciated that, tried calling back, disconnected. Reverse search comes up with the verizon as their provider.

Recorded message regarding extented car warranty

This number has called me numerous times. It claims to be a warranty company. I started giving information to the gentleman on the other end then realized he was asking personal questions and I just hung up. This guy sounded very professional. Don't be fooled these are cons!!

Missed call from this number 1/20/09 1616. Didn't recognize but when I attempted to return the call I received a message that the number had been disconnected.

Called last night just after 7 pm on my cell phone - answered, there was no one one the line.

Called today around 11:30 am.  Didn't answer it.  No message was left.

Got a call at 4:02pm yesterday. Left no message.

Got one at 734pm - missed it. My heart is broken.

same # called me today (1-22-09) at 5:28pm CDT... I thought about answering.... but I was enjoying the rush hour traffic.

I also got a call today from 517-931-2251.  I didn't answer it either...  looked it up also and there are complaints about that # too.

I have never got scam/sales/marketing calls on my cell and now 2 in 1 day... lovely.  I put my cell # somewhere I shouldn't have I guess.

Only places I may have put it lately for a contact in case of a problem with an order is (bloomingdales.com, fortunoff.com, ticketmaster.com, carstuff.com, and worldsoccershop.com).  Anyone else use these same sites and have the same problem??

same as above, I am wondering if they forwared their number to a non-working number such that you are calling the correct number that called, but it is forwarded to a non-working number.
They hung up on me when I asked to be taken off their list.
