I got a message from someone with a very thick Indian or other accent. Funny think is, the accent was often on the wrong syllable, almost the way a robot sounds...  Also claimed to be from Bankers Life, wanted to meet with me regarding a job. Well, first of all, I found a job in April, so I'm no longer looking. 2nd of all... the very last thing I would want to do is sell insurance. I deleted it right away and then looked at the caller ID. I wondered who called me from CT State Judicial. From what you've all said, it was the same guy.

I got this call this morning and just yesterday I posted my resume on Career Builder.

I misse the call from that number.  I tried to call back, but get an answering machine.  I was not able to understand from your message,  Did you get  ajob?

Just got a call from a man who said he was from Bankers Life ... he had a thick accent. Called back and it went right to voicemail.

It's shameful that these people are out here scamming people who are looking and NEEDING jobs. Please don't call these folks back. I also wonder what job I applied to that was  a fake.

An Indian gentleman told me he was from Boston Mutual and his boss wanted me to come in for a job interview.

got the same callt his mornin sayin he got my resume for a position i applied for on monster.com..funny thing is i never applied for a postion anywhere close to that.  but you said the caller id says state of ct judicial...got me worried..lol  maybe it's a scam to get people with warrants or somethin..but i've never had anything like that..so i really have no idea..i just know i won't be calling them back especially after reading all these..lol

yes , got a call from an indian man saying he worked for Bankers Life and casualty company and he had seen my resume on a known web site. asked me to call him if i was still looking for a job...glad i checked the number first....

says hes from Bankers setting up an interview for his boss, and the caller id says "
state of ct judicial" definetly a scam.also called my neighbor says he saw my resume on career builder,funny thing is its private.so uhh yeah

Kinda the same thing happened, only it wasn't me who picked up the phone but a family member, while I was out of the house. She said the person had a peculiar accent (French?) and asked for me (as I am currently looking for a job). But he didn't leave a name and never called back.
