Keeps on calling, never a message, no one there when I pick up. What's the sense in calling if you don't talk ?

I called the number.  It's an "enrollement center" for health & life insurance.

If it's a telemarketer then why when I answered during the 2nd ring and said "hello" in English did they not even speak at all? I said hello a second time waited and then THEY hung up.

I don't like that unidentifiable kind of call either. So when I see one (luckily I am a quick typer) I quickly googled the area code and it said hakettstown, nj. When they hung up on me I looked for the rest of the number to see who that might be because I have friends in NJ, Phily & Ct area. But I see  this page and everyone has the same question.


It seems you all let voicemail answer and then they leave none.  Has anyone else but me gotten hung up on even when saying hello?

there is a national and state dnc list in which u have to update every few months you have grounds to get upset these are not indefinite list

i just hit the talk button and lay the phone down on the counter. if the dogs are barking i let them bark into the phone.

even if it is "most likely...getting this call because at some time you requested a 3rd party company to get you quotes on insurance"...it still does not give the companies the right to call three four five six times a day.

Received a call a few minutes ago.  Called them back.  I tried to sell them my 'etiquette training' course.  They refused to listen, and now are blocking my calls.

I wish this was the case.  The truth is I hand it to my husband, I plug my ears, but I can still feel his words thundering off my skin, and those special words he likes to use that I don't like so much myself, but I can't help grinning anyway.

This number keeps calling me at lease once a day for the last 2 weeks. Right after this number calls me another number from another state follows right after! So annoying!

Speak in Spanish when you answer...Hola? Say it a couple of times, they'll tell you they can't speak Spanish & hang up. They were calling several times a day for weeks so I finally did this & they haven't called back since.

number by accident, so now im getting all the calls...they told me i would be getting several calls from different companys.

This company calls several times a day.  I had signed up for Medicare info quite a while ago, but they are bordering on harrassment.

It's a health insurance company. I requested a quote, and that's why they are calling. I used google phone to call the #.

WE THE PEOPLE are the INNOCENT ONES HERE; not the SCUMBAG CORPORATIONS and CRIMINALS.  WE THE PEOPLE are standing up for our RIGHT not to be BOTHERED.  WE THE PEOPLE are being VICTIMIZED with NO RECOURSE and NO ONE TO **STOP** THIS and are JUSTIFIABLY PISSED. (The Justice Dept tends to ONLY pursue those callers who have SCAMMED a lot of people out of a lot of money.)

We DID NOT ask for "QUOTES".  We simply went to a website that promised a COMPILATION LIST of the available health care plans for our state, what those plans are and the costs.  HOW are these "QUOTES"????  Thats BULLS***!  A "Quote" is when you need something done - as in a service, like getting your lawn mowed or a PRODUCT, like buying a CAR that is 'one of a kind' since they make so many variations THAT ARE CUSTOM or INDIVIDUALIZED so that you cannot just 'look up' the price of that item.

HEALTH CARE PLANS, however, come in "Packages" that you pick and chose by your needs and wants and demographics.  It is EASY ENOUGH to do FROM A CHART.  You DON'T NEED some idiot salesman calling your to TELL you a price; any time you have that there is room for FRAUD and GRAFT and being "Sold" something you DON'T NEED, DON'T WANT and is probably NOT IN YOUR BEST INTERESTS.

If I want to (HAVE TO - its MANDATED in our state) buy health insurance, it should be EASY, straight forward,  simple and PRIVATE.  NO GIMMICKS, QUOTES, SALESPEOPLE or UNWANTED SPAM CALLS NECESSARY.

I'll bet the people who are DEFENDING these SCUMBAG CALLERS are Commission based Telemarketers, themselves.

Insurance company looking to give quotes that you asked for at one point.

To the people being upset that they are calling when they went to a website that offered you quotes and you didn't list your number- your address and phone number are public record. The site(s) say that third party companies can contact you with quotes. As for the DNCL, the third party companies can call you up to a year and they will not get fined because you were put in a list for quotes. You can certainly pick the phone up when they call and ask to be removed fro that companies list.

I got a call from this number through myiprelay number which the caller did not leave a message which probably a wrong number!!! UGH!!!

Very annoyed they keep calling. They left a voicemail this time, not saying what it was regarding but cursing into my phone!! I don't use the lords name in vain and I did NOT appreciate it on my voicemail!
