I have been getting calls from thi snumber al;so, 909-222-1108, same thing happens, you call back and they say hit 1 if you don't want them to call back. I did not order a snugge but did order the free sample of acaipure and I had to pay shipping, I guess I will be scammed too. It is getting to be a terrible world we live in, you cannot trust anyone. Never..Never order anyhting from the internet..

Scammers and criminals don't care about FTC don't call lists. That only works for legimate companies (and then there are rules too!!!)

But yeah these scammers called my office number. Told them they had not called a private number. Have not heard back!!!

They called me and I answered.  They went through a long spiel about getting a $100 "rebate" that could be used at any of several stores for trying their consumer rewards program.  I heard a slight giggle as she was talking. They made it sound like they were with VISA and they had the last four digits, and my home address. After I told her I was not interested she asked why I wasn't interested in a hundred dollar gift reward. I told her I am still wondering how they got my Cell phone number. Immediatly she hung up.

Same thing happened to me w/ the same number there's also another number it's an Atlanta area code i believe (469) that calls in regards to the same thing (the $100 gift card or something like that) they try to verify your address and then pass you on to the "shipping" dept. i also hung up after that. does anyone have a number to call where we can file complaints on this to be removed permanently?

got a call from this number last week.  Same deal as someone above who mentioned getting a free $100 gift certificate.  I would get something in the mail and would just have to call the 1800 number if I liked the service. I asked what I needed to do now, and he responded nothing.  Then he said he needed to verify my address and would pass the call off to his supervisor to verify.  I hung up.

I received that 909-222-1108 call today...didn't answer and decided to check which led me to this page.

Suspect it's related to an Acai berry scam which cost me enough already.

Maybe Oprah should be looking into this scam and make it known to all, particularly if it's her praise of Acai that begat this scam.

I ordered from acaipure last night and the calls from this number started today.  I am so mad I cancelled my credit card and requested a new one.  I don't even intend to open the product but will return it with a very nasty letter... of course I will document everything.

I did not order a snuggie or the acaiberry, but I have order some clothes and a wine opener lately.  I order from the internet a lot, but have never encountered any problem until now.  I have not answered their call and I'm not going to, hopefully they will just go away.  Thanks.

They have called me too, many times in the last couple days with a bunch of numbers. Finally I picked up, they asked my name , said something about customer rewards and mumbled the last four digits of my Visa card. I said, "Excuse me? Say that again" and the guy said, "I have to go, we'll call back" and hung up. So strange, I'm so glad I found this site, I was getting scared. Thanks Karen for talking to them and posting this!

They called me and I answered.  They went through a long spiel about getting a $100 "rebate" that could be used at any of several stores for trying their consumer rewards program.  They made it sound like they were with American Express and they had the last four digits.  I went along with it because I suspected what they were doing.  Then they said they were having trouble with the Amex card going through and asked for another credit card.  Then as I questioned them pretty hard, they said that they were not with Amex, but that Consumer Rewards was the company and if I couldn't give them another card, they couldn't follow through.  She was pretty anxious then to get off the phone.  No company called Consumer Rewards is listed in the 909 area code.  THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO GET A CREDIT CARD NUMBER1

I received 3 phone calls from 909-222-1108 today on my cell phone. They do nto leave a message. I have called back and it is always busy. I finally got through and the automated message says they were calling to confirm my order. Press one if i do not want to be called again. I HAVE NOT ordered anything this year. The only thing i have ever ordered and gave out this cell phone number was a snuggie. Ever since i ordered a snuggie i have been getting all these random scam telemarketer calls. None of them leave messages. If you actually answer they ask for your SS number or for you to confirm your credit card number. They actually asked for my mastercard number. they only thing i have charges on that was the snuggie. The snuggie company is selling all of our info to scammers. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

I recently ordered Pureacai which is a diet supplement for weight control which was one of the new products "The Doctors" and "Oprah" have raved about and if you go on line  for the free trail offer all you are required to do is pay for shipping for a one month supply, what they don't tell you is that you go on an autoship program and it cost about 45.00 if you don't cancel during the trial period and if you try to navigate away from the site they offer you a discount on that also and you only pay 1.95... I was wondering about that so I googled the product and found that it was also a scam... This is just a way for them to get more information to charge your card so check your statements closely... buyer beware...

Hope it helps and I hope these people will realize that we are not crazy to give out our information to anyone that asks for it! Seriously! what the hell are they thinking!

My wife has been getting calls from this number for a couple of days now...here is what I was able to find via online:

"They called me and I answered. THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO GET A CREDIT CARD NUMBER!"

There are at least a dozen posting concerning this phone number, which shows to originate from Colten, CA...

Hope this helps everyone...
