called this morning.

Called this PM no one on line just static.

This was a recorded voter solicitation message from the voice of Michael Krause who is running for Victor Valley College Board of Governors.  They called my CELL phone (!), which number is opted out to NOT receive calls, and wasted my minutes while I tried to figure out who was calling.  They are "909" (San Bernardino, etc.), the Victor Valley is in the high desert, area code "760" and my cell phone is "818" so I don't know how they picked up my number.  How bothersome ! ! !  Guess who I WON'T be voting for (!)  The line, when called back, is a fax and someone is probably feeding the message automatically to pre-programmed numbers.

I FOUND IT!! http://mccarterindustries.com.  That number says it's a fax number; probably during the daytime, at night, it's a robo-dialer.

I just got a robo-call from John Pruitt who is running for our school board.  I guess he didn't get enough of sexually harrassing secretaries during his last term when he got booted off the board by voters.  The last time he called it was a Rhode Island number!!

Politicians are exempt from the Do Not Call list law.  Its legal for them to call your land line.  I'm not sure about cell phones.

This was a recorded voting solicitation call from the voice of Michael Krause, "officially running" for the Board of Governors for Victor Valley College.  Trouble is, our area code up here in the high desert is "760" and my CELL (!) phone that they called and caused me to waste my minutes on (not to mention the time to research what this was all about) is an "818" number.  I'm signed to opt out of calls so I don't know how or why they got my cell phone number or why the call would come from a "909" area code in San Bernardino?!  With these types of sleezy, bothersome calls, guess who I WON"T be voting for ! ! !

Number comes up as a fax on his website under contact me. Maybe the cleaning crew is making long distance calls using their fax line...strange that others are getting prank calls from the same number.
