I received 2 threatening phone calls from a Ross Harrington, who pretended to be a lawyer (no law firm noted) calling Louis Nixon stating Nixon (not me) was being sued and "you need to call the claimants office at (909) 281-3344.  He threatened to come to my home or office because there was a "scheduled service date for you to appear in court unless I get a release.  Have your photo IE available when I give you the packet.  This is a certified notice Louis Nixon."  This is a land line in Corona, CA that is associated with 35 IP addresses I found out when checking on this number via the Internet.  It is obviously a huge scam!  I have filed complaints with the FCC and the FTC along with the CA Attorney General.

Caller calls asking for someone else.  Leaves a very harressing message.  I have called and told them not to call my number again.  And, Guess What, got another call today.  I returned the call to 1-866-839-4436 and started to register a complaint and was hung up on.  SCAMMMMMMM!!!!!.  I have contacted my Attorney General's Office in Florida.  Maybe, he can get him to quite calling.

if this man calls my house again or comes here I will get a lawyer and sue him and the police will be here to.and that goes formy cell phone to.

Its a scam.  Its all over this board.  He's trying to scare you into paying a bill you don't owe.

Did anything ever come of this? I've received multiple calls at my work from him and can't tell what it's regarding but he says he's going to send people to my home or work. Was this just a scam??

Received call from 909 281 - 3344 said that his name was james highland and that he was calling from a law firm and had a sealed envelope and couldnt open until he meets with me and that i have an outstanding claim or check.  i asked about what this was about and again he said that he couldnt open a sealed envelope, So how is he telling me that i owe something when he wont be straight up about it.  he called yesterday and again today to work. Said that he would be stopping by however this is a federal facility and he will be escorted off the premises.  So go ahead make my day, fool

I have received harrassing bull crap calls from this douche and he even called my elderly mother leaving a voicemail saying he was coming to her house ..this douche has a fake wanna be professional tone and if you listen to his bs message you can completely tell its a scam.  Don't be fooled by a fake person named Anthony Thompson.

A person named Anthony Thompson keeps calling my number looking for my sister and leaving this phone number to call back. He keeps threatening to visit her home and place of employment and saying there is a case made against her name and social. He never says who he is from or what this is regards to. My sister says they don't call her number and she doesn't have anything that she would be called about like this. It does sound fake. The guy talks in the stupidest fake voice trying to sound "professional"...I guess... He should stop because he has to stop and cough in the middle of the longass monologue he rants out...on my voicemail...

This person keeps calling my house. I never answer so he leaves messages. Today he said he is from a law office, didn't say which one, and that a case has been made against my name and social. If i don't get back to him today he would be forced to show up at my house or place of residence. The phone number suggests he's calling from Big Bear Lake. This sounds fake. Any suggestions?
