Becareful they changed their number it basic knowledge to know they are scammers simply tell them to f*** off and click it's tax season people don't be stupid your whole life

Any time you receive a call from someone who demands you pay him/her immediately or within a very short period of time - you're dealing with scammers or junk debt buyers who can't prove you actually do owe them money.  Per the FDCPA, you should not pay any caller who refuses to MAIL a debt validation letter showing you owe a debt and that they have the legal right to collect said debt.  In fact, refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their first call to you, is a violation of the FDCPA.

Conclusion: Mr. Ron Jones from American Asset Group, called me back after he faxed me his information and left message for me to fax my info & credit card #  ASAP i had less than an hour to replay otherwishe, he was going to continue with his threat., I did confirm this company and individual are a scam, they were not with Well's Fargo, i reported them to FTC w/thier info & fax info, The bank had me log them on their Fraud web site. He never called me back.

just got call today on my cell from #909 303 7043 that they are serving me POE papers to garnish my wages due to old wells fargo account 2004 - he/Mr. Jones gave me my po box and an old house address. he said he can stop if i agree to pay $700.00 on 12/20/13 i did give him my address and was waiting for his fax to give my credit card info and sign contract no letter head just contract. I then got skeptical and called wells fago got there overdraft dept but he see's no info for me and gave me their recovery dept i called but they have not gotten back to me. But now this is fishie how can they be scheduled to serve me papers and he would be able to stop today? i am waiting to confirm

Yep. I got scammed too. over 800.00 not to mention my identification as well. f*cked up.

Be very cautious with these people.  They will call you with a seemingly valid debt (in some cases, they find information on a real debt owed from the past of yours) and try to get money out of you.  ASK THEM for the name of the original creditor, and be sure to call and verify with the creditor that they retained these people.  Most likely they did not.  The guy who called me from this number also used 855-876-8932, said his name was DAVID Carter (not Robert) calling from Hampton and West.  When they sent me "settlement documents" the company name was listed as American Asset Group (not Hampton and West) and the amount stated in the document was for more than they said the debt was over the phone.  I called them back, calling them out on this, asking for documentation of the original debt, left several messages, told them of the discrepancy in amounts...have not heard back so far.  Filed a complaint with the BBB....that hopefully will shut them up.

This is a cell phone number or business that a Robert Carter gave my sister in laws mother. This  persone is a scammer and here is another number to watch out for 8778180144. Watch out and dont give up any of your personal information.
