Craigslist scammers,got a text from "Suzanne" wanted motorcycle I'm selling as long as I took payment via Paypal....will have their agent pick up bike,when told it was cash only she stopped texting....get a job you low life fuc*s!

yup selling a car and this guy texted me with the name of Robert from the same number...scammer.

I do a lot on craigslist and I get this a lot, I have played their game, I have gotten checks, that payed way over the amount of the item, but you don't cash them there is noting they can do. Any more I just don't reply to their text. That's how I handle it

Got the message from Robert about my van. I responded by asking him if he would go perform an anatomically impossible act upon himself.  Was that being too rude?

yep...glad I searched the #909-307-4664...he wants to buy my camper...saw it on craigslist...same story...use paypal and his 'agent' will come get it...yeah...bring me cash or a cashiers check buddy...thanks people!!

This guy just tried the "Can only pay through Pay-Pal " thing with me with something I had posted on Craigslist in Macon Ga. Glad my wife googled the number and found all this info!  She said it was too suspicious sounding!

I got a text from "Robert" offering to buy my car off of craigslist without seeing it. I texted him that he could call me and I'd give him more info. He texted back stating that he would not be able to come see it but he would have his agent from his shipping company come to my location for the pick up and he would be making the payment via PayPal, and he would like to know if I have an account. I googled his number and got this info. FYI: this number is a scam, please do not give him your info.

Just happened to me I had two scammers say similar things so I searched. I want sell to anyone who doesn't want to even see my vehicle and offer full price.

Wanted to buy my walking cooler. said he was deaf. insisted on a PayPal transaction. Said shipping agent would pick up. I got suspicious and looked up the number and here I thought I had my cooler sold. Good thing I saw this. Someone will get their hands on this person someday.

Got text messages trying to buy an item on Craigslist. Typical attempts  to get your paypal  account.  Claim they can't call  or view your item,    but a shipping agent will pick it up.

He just did the same to me!

In this case I think "deaf" means "speak with a pronounced Indian, Pakistani, or African accent".  I also think the "buyer" plans for your friend to wire $1000 to a shipping firm he has selected.  Your friend's wire payment goes through, Frank's payment does not, and Frank vanishes.  Your friend would be wise to avoid all dealings with Frank.

This guy claimed he would pay $2300 for a truck my friend was only asking $1500 for if he would just open a paypal account so "Frank" could pay thru Paypal. Frank also claimed to be "deaf" so he couldn't talk to my friend by phone, he only wanted to text. Very suspicious, and I'm glad to have read your comments to advise my friend to stay away from this peron's dealings.

I posted my car on craigslist. "frank" offered to buy my car for full price without even seeing it, which was a red flag. Then he said he would have his "agent" come pickup my car and he would deposit the funds into my pay pal account. When I said I would only take cash he said that paypal is the leading financial transaction company and that its 100% safe. I knew it was a scam by that time.

He try to buy my phone with a weird transaction. I receive many message with différents numbers: I need a phone for my sister, my soon, blabla bla
