Google doesn't find info for Poineer North Inc. nor that phone number.

We get these types of emails regularly - SAME exact request, different names/numbers.  Don't get caught up in the scam.  They will happily accept whatever price you tell them and rip you off on using bogus shipping companies and fraudulent credit card numbers.

I'm in  Pittsfield, MA and just received the same email today fro Mike Heberts. So glad I checked into it!

The scam involves the freight. They instruct you to ship using a bogus company so the charges go back to them.  The credit card they give you is fraudulent for the order.  Meanwhile your left with their "order" and a loss for the shipping.  Especially bad if it was a custom order which can not be resold elsewhere.  Be Careful!

Below is the response from "Mike" after I gave him an outrageous price on a 2' x 3' piece of stainless steel to flush him out and mess with him.

If this guy's going to scam people he needs to learn proper English. LOL  What the heck would you do with 80 pieces of flat stainless???  They always seem to say don't add shipping.  That is were the scam really takes place.  The credit cards they give with be fraudulent.

Same here in Texas except the name is Tom Bence. These people have been doing this for a long time. Last year they wanted vinyl banners, then another request for engraved plaques...The scam is in the shipping...don't fall for it!!!
Now, anytime I get a request from the internet for large orders like this,  I Google the phone number.  Everytime the results are a scam. Thanks 800notes.com

My printing company got an email from Mike Herbert (mikeherberts2@gmail.com) from "Poineer North Inc" with all the exact same email content provided above (60,000 fliers).

So fishy, I made it into a bouillabaisse. :D

I forgot to mention, they wanted the shipping paid "UP FRONT"
