I believe its people calling collect from West Valley detention center in Rancho Cucamonga California.

I just received a call from this number but theyhung up ...is this still a State prison number

Jan, I'm in the same boat.  I've got a deadbeat nephew but I'm assured he's not the source.

I started receiving calls from this phone number around 9pm last night got several back to back.  Just received 3 more around 2pm today. I have not answered and they leave no voicemail.  My daughter is also at West Valley Detention Center so I'm guessing you guys are right :(

The number is from the central detention center a facility from the san bernardino county jail system

This number called me yesterday at around 9, it called me again today saying it's a collect call from West Valley Detention Center.  If you don't know anybody in there, it's probably a call forwarding scam.

This is the West Valley Detention Center...I know because it's my daughter calling me from jail. This is not the first time. If you answer it it will advise you to put money on your account to pay for in inmate to call you. Collect calls cannot be made to cell phones unless you do this. The minimum is $25.00.

this number is in fact west valley jail! Its an inmate trying to call you!

I received a call on July 18 at 11: 10 p.m. It is a recording stating that it is the San Bernardino West Valley Facility and if I would accept a collect call from a Javier Nunez. I do not know this individual and I promptly hung up.

same detention center call but listen to the whole message call the last number and it is a "you won a free 1000 walmart pre-paid card" number.. Whats the deal???

I received a call this evening at 10:00. Left no message, I called back only to get a message that the number was no longer in service.

I keep getting calls to my cell phone from this number. I do not know anyone in San Bernadino County Jail. I have never accepted the call, but I can't get them to stop calling. Sometimes I get 2 or 3 calls in a row each day.

I've read elsewhwere that it could be a call forwarding scam, so I am reporting it to my state AG for further investigation.

Unwanted call

I had a call from this phone number too and then the guy asked for a person here but she wasnt home and then he started asking weird questions like. "You are so nice are you here daughter?" and "Is that your little one in the background?" and  "so your married to her son?", "you dont sound a day older than 16." "you have been so nice, thank you"....................I got so creeped out that i went to make sure the front door was locked. I kept asking if he wanted to leave a message but he said no.

It is a number from a San Bernardino  County Detention Center.  My son in law is currently incarcerated there and this is the number that shows up on our caller id when he calls us.  It doesn't necessarily have to be a collect call.  He uses a calling card when he calls.

Only 1 call from this # so far     Caller ID showed  DOC    4 rings   left no message    5:30 pm

I believe it could very well be the San  Bernardino Jail.  I know someone who was incarcerated; and then I started receiving relentless calls from this number.

I was called by 909-327-2078 multiple times today. It says it is from a san Bernardino county prison, Says the name is "Ryan"  I really don't believe that this is a legit prison call, seems way too fishy.

Caller phoned late and left no message. Who is it?

Received a collect call from 909-327-2078 at 6:19AM.  Returned the call and the number in out of service.

caller keeps calling , & when you return call the number says that the number is no longer in use
