This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I got this call on 1/21/2013 on my personal cellular phone.  It was an automated message system.  It said that I need act quick and it supposely will lower my interest rate on my credit card.  I don't believe my Bank will call me on a holiday to lower my interest rate.  I hung up.

Got a call from this # on my personal cell. I am on the do not call list. No message was left.

Unsolicited call regrading a credit card and how to lower the rate. When I insisted to know which card they were referring to, the person hung up. How to block? I am on the national do not call registry.

This number appeared on my cell, no message left. I was trying to find reverse lookup info because the area it listed the caller's location as Corona, CA, where my half-brother lived when we last spoke (10+ yrs ago)... Strange coincidence!

Just got a call from 909-502-2389. A recording from "your credit card company" asked me if I wanted to lower my rate. Since the recording didn't identify which credit card company was calling, I assumed this is a fraud.

Called my personal cell phone.  I do not give out this number except to a few select individuals.  Am on the do not call list.  Did not answer and the number did not leave a message.  Other searches indicate it is a cell number from Corona California

I did not answer the call because it was a number I did not recognize. Call was to my cell phone.

Getting calls from this number early in the morning. Have no idea who they are. I stopped answering. It is getting to be like an alarm clock!  They just do give up ....do they!

Received a missed phone call from this company today at 8:30am. My phone number has been on the Do Not Call registry since 2010! So thank you for your information below, I defiantly filed a complaint! Through the do not call registry.

Annoyed by multiple calls from this number.  Followed instructions for opting out.  No luck.  Reported to do not call list.  What a waste of everyone's time.

I called it back, got an automated attendant, and was offered right then to "opt out of future calls and promotions by pressing 1", which I did.  Not sure it will work, but at least I had the option.

I too, receive phone calls from this 909-502-2389 number.  I usually pick up, lay the receiver down and walk away.  That way they have to pay for the phone call and get nothing in return.

By the way, no telemarketer or other type of nuisance phone calls can come unwanted to a cell phone.  It is against the law to call a person on a cell phone for this type of phone calls unless invited by the owner of cell phone.  So report it to your local Public Service Commission, and also your cell phone service provider and the FCC.  That is the only way to stop the unwanted cell phone calls.  That is why there is no cell phone directory, to protect the privacy of cell phone users from this type of unwanted calls.  Sad that it has come to having to use cell phone completely to protect our privacy and then someone has to invade that privacy illegally.  Lets try and put a stop to this type of nuisance.  Report it and keep reporting it.

I received this call for lower interest rates.  Called my credit card company.  They stated this is a scam trying to get credit card number.  There is no lower interest rate

Received call from this number yesterday.  It starts as a recording saying it is regarding your credit card - no problem with account, but press "1" to see about getting a lower interest rate.  Then a live person with a heavy east European accent came on and when I asked which account she was calling about, she said they were calling for Bank of America and Chase and didn't I have a Visa account with a certain balance.  I said I don't know, since you won't tell me which account, and asked for a number to call her back and she then hung up.  I tried to call Comcast to get the number, but couldn't get it until this morning. Why can't someone stop these people before they steal someone's accounts?

Credit Scam.  Recording claims that they can refinance my credit cards, yet I have no credit cards to refi. Recording  further states to press 3 to be removed from the list.  The calls continue despite multiple requests to be removed from their Robo-call list.  Again, this is a scam.  Take the time to file a complaint with the do not call registry.  The more complaints that they get, the more likely that this particular scam will cease.  Another one will take its place, but at least this one may go away.
