These people keep calling. But I love that the caller ID reads "Marketing Fraud." So we blacklisted them on OOMA so they don't bother us anymore.

They called, I hung up.  Called back and left WTF on their machine.  Won't do any good, but I felt better.

I'm cracking up that my caller ID listed the number as 'MARKETING FRAUD'. Was laughing so hard I couldn't even bother answering.  I've been getting a lot of those fake Google calls on my business line lately so these comments don't surprise me. The best thing you can do with those calls, other than not answering (since they come from different numbers all the time and I don't know about you all, but my line is a business line) is not push anything. Just hang up. Pushing any kind of number to 'update your listing' or remove yourself from their 'call list' basically just tells them that there's a human on the line pushing buttons, and therefore, your phone number works.

Another  scam, not Google.

The phone companies must get involved to block and cancel phone service to these spamming creatures.

Well, that was funny.  The call just came in to our office phone. The caller ID said "Marketing Fraud".  Someone must have hacked into their phones or somethin'.  LOL.  I just picked up and hung up.  Easier than having to check the voice mail.

Head in hands I give up! Am I forever destined to be called by these numbers - I get at least one every day or two for the last 6 months, all different numbers from all over the US. 562 224-4266, 253 236 2068, all the same scammers - oh the joy I would have to meet them face to face.

I keep on getting calls from this number and also from a Las Vegas number (702 705-7020) and I am being stalked by these callers...it is very creepy at best

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

I answered the phone and the caller hung up without saying a word.  Caller ID just says "Incoming Call"

I also got a call on 11.14.2013 asking me to update information about my free Google website.  The company uses different numbers and calls me every single day.  This is annonying.  I have no interest in purchasing anything that's why I set up a FREE google website.  Ugh.  Phone spammers.

I called google and they said it is not them. I asked if I could report it and she seemed uninterested and connected me to "customer service". Which went nowhere of course. I got a call from 909-502-2443 seems to be connected. We are in Southern ON as well. Said we need to update our google listing, got a call back from someone else (unavail number). Went through the steps to update our listing, but gave no info that was not already on our google listing. They said someone would call us back to verify shipping of our invoice for $480! I called google, figured it was a scam, they confirmed. Google places if FREE and we have no Google AdWords acct! When a lady called back the 2nd time I told her I thought it was a scam and she instantly hung up on me! 3rd phone call was the original guy "Ryan" asking me what the problem was. I told him I am not interested in using their services etc, he proceeded to tell me he did not like my "attitude" and I ended the conversation.

I've been called every day by this number. Grrr.

Here's something people can do. Call the National Do Not Call registry 1-888-382-1222 and file a complaint against the number.

They say they want to update your Google listing. I really thought it was Google so I pressed 1. They want to scam you somehow. I played dopey (myself ;~D) and talked circles around them. Played some head games & HE hung up. hahaha. I have since added them to my ever growing list of spam phone numbers.

Their automated dialers are very persistent! They attempted 4 times in the space of 11 seconds. Since I already had them blocked they kept getting dead air at no cost to me.

I got a call from 909-502-2443 and I am reading the other posts..the question I have in my head is   if this is a company using GOOGLE as telemarketing technique, why is Google not doing anything about it?  I mean..who wants their name to be dragged with bad comments and postings/  Maybe it is Google.
