Target Contests.com - $1000 gift card  for your entry last month.  What entry last month????/

Security company Cloudmark created a spam messaging reporting service that nation?s major wireless carriers agreed earlier this year to start using. Now, customers of AT&T Mobility, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint and others can forward their text spam message to 7726. The mobile phone carrier will ask customers for the phone number that?s linked to the spam message so they and Cloudmark can start investigating.

Got a text from them reading "Your entry last month has WON! Go to TargetContests.com and enter your winning code 36273 to claim your FREE $1000 Target gift card within 24hrs"

Awaken by 3:00 a.m. text that I won $1000 contest I entered last month to Target.  Did not enter.  Scam!
Will report to my carrier later today.

It's a scam.  There is the same message from best buy, target, other stores

I received a text saying I won a $1000 gift card from Target in the contest I entered last month. I did not enter any contest. I think this is a scam!

Same thing here - 1:30 a.m. text that I won $1000 GC to Target.  Told me to go to Targetcontests.com and enter code.

I just got a text from this number as well saying that I'd won $1000 from Target but I never entered the contest that it mentions. Obviously not real.

Wife received a notification of winning a $1,000.00 Target gift card on her cell phone. Can not confirm this is a legitimate notification or a scam of some type. The caller lists this number and a confirmation number to call and confirm the win.

GOT A TEXT AT 2:00 A.M. THAT I WON $1K FROM TARGET & GO TO A WEBSITE & ENTER A CODE.  I PLACED A COMPLAINT WITH MY CELL CARRIER.  MAKE SURE YOU FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR PHONE CARRIER. IT IS NOW A FELONY FOR THESE SCAM COMPANIES TO DO THIS BUT YOU HAVE TO FILE A COMPLAINT.

Just got a text like this one by Sarah.  $1000 GC to Target

I got a text telling me to go to targetcontests.com to enter a code and win $1000 prize for a contest that I never entered. Obviously a scam.

Got a call from them about winning a bestbuy contest I didn't enter. Super scam, although their scam website wasn't working.

got another stupid call from 909 538 6641 please don't reply it's a scam report them i have.

Got a text from 909-538-6641 saying I won the prize $1,000 from best buy, I must get back to them within 24 hrs..  I don't think that would be a very good idea on my part since I didn't enter any contest they claim I won !!!
