Spoke to a Manager at Target.  It's a scam & they said they were aware of it.  Not affiliated with Target.

It's a scam - the website is based in Russia, is unsafe, and has nothing to do with Target. Do not even go to the site as you run a high risk of having personal information stolen from your computer.

This just pissed me off! The text from this number woke me up at 2 AM!!  I read the message and thought "Have I even entered into a target contest?" The answer is NO. As much as the $1000 would have helped me out for Christmas time, it is a complete low life that has nothing better to do with their time.

It seems too good to be true - lo and behold, it is!  Note: Target.net [scam] vs. Target.com [legitimate].  Plus, my recent Target receipt (11/25/2012) clearly states that you're in the running for $5k if you respond to their survey AND then win the monthly drawing.  
These low-ballin' scammers need to step up their game. Fools.

Got the same text about 5 min ago, and I cannot UNsubscribe if I am NOT subscribed (and subscribed to WHAT??)..... I will report this latest spam text to Verizon, because I have to pay 25 cents for every text I get, and I am NOT paying for spam. Verizon has been really good about crediting me for these things.  But I always say, NEVER answer a number you do not know.

It's a buy two silver package blah blah kind deal no biggie just unsubscribe :)

Received the same text as others; targetcontests.net scam stating that I won $1000.

Another scam and spam on your phone.  This time text.  Frak the frakkers!!!  Anyone know who this idiot is so I can handle this the street way.

I also got this message and so did a friend!!  How do we stop this obvious scam so that some unsuspecting person doesn't fall for it????

Got the same text message. Called the number back and it went to a cell phone voice message. Didn't enter the contest. Immediately thought it was a scam and did research first.

Recd txt msg on 11/26/12 - ""Your entry last month has WON! Go to TargetContests.com and enter your winning code 291x to claim your FREE $1000 Target gift card within 24 hrs."

I checked out Target "Sweepstakes and Promotions" site and they list nothing about a "$1000" Gift Card" Contest.

I received the same text message at 4:20am on 11-26-12.  These people just won't stop but they will get their day.  When you do things like that to lure people into something is really digusting especially in this day of texting.  Hopefully, all people who receive this stupid message will ignore it like I did.  Let them beat themselves at their own game I say......

Yeah, same thing with me today.  Got a text from this number saying I'm up for a 1K gift card.  I called the number and the auto voice says the "mailbox hasn't been set up yet."

I got the same text on my phone re: won a target gift card , tells you to go to a website and enter a code. Scared to go on website and enter code cause maybe they can somehow get your information. Not sure though. Anyway prob a scam. Been getting all kinds lately. Getting really sick of them.

I received a spam text from this number on Nov. 22 at 5:45 pm.

909-762-0659 sent me a text that said I won a contest I had entered and to go to Target Contest.com to claim my prize, funny thing I never entered any contest.
